Wrestling icons Nikki and Brie Bella gained popularity with their reality TV series “Total Divas.” The show, which rain from 2013 to 2019 followed the lives of female WWE wrestlers in and out of the ring. It’s been seven years since the series finale, but now it might be time for a comeback, especially if The Bella Twins have their way.
Nikki and Brie Bella Are Pushing For a ‘Total Divas’ Comeback
GettyIn 2013, the landscape of women’s wrestling changed thanks to “Total Divas.” The E! series featured Nikki and Brie Bella along with their co-workers Naomi, Natalya, Eva Marie, Cameron, and JoJo as they navigated their professional and personal lives.
Viewers got to see a glimpse into the work behind-the-scenes at WWE along with the wresters’ home life. The show became a hit, drawing new legions of fans to WWE and earning newfound fame for the cast.
After nine seasons, “Total Divas” aired its final episode in December 2019. Fans were upset with the cancellation and missed the entertaining and dramatic moments the ladies provided. But there might be some hope for loyal and longtime “Total Divas” fans.
In a May 18th interview with the “Battleground podcast,” Nikki and Brie Bella revealed they’ve been trying to get the show back on the air.
“We’ve had conversations about it for years, about bringing it back. We’ve always pushed hard for that because it really helped the women. Not only to showcase what they can do in and out of the ring, but it gave our voices such a big platform.”
The twins explained that with women’s wrestling more popular than ever, now’s the time for “Total Divas” to return.
“I feel like now, with what the women are doing, it’s a perfect time for it to be back. To showcase what these women are doing, how they’re delivering, and I want to know what some of them are doing inside and outside of the ring. If they were to call, we are back right now, so it might be a yes.”
Who Would Join Nikki and Brie Bella on ‘Total Divas’?
GettyFor years, Nikki and Brie have been very vocal about their desire to bring back “Total Divas.” Now, that the twins are back wrestling in WWE, it would be a good opportunity to showcase their comeback.
However, there might be some changes when it comes to their castmates. Many of the show’s original cast including JoJo, Eva Marie, and Cameron has since left WWE.
But there’s many other female wrestlers who could take their place. And Nikki and Brie have a few ideas on possible castmates.
In a February 2026 interview with SiriusXM Sports, the Bellas revealed their picks. The sisters agreed former castmates Naomi, Natalya, and Nia Jax should return. As for new gals, Rhea Ripley, Chelsea Green, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, and Maxxine Dupri are at the top of their list.
Although a “Total Divas” reboot is not official yet, the Bella Twins are still holding out hope. Maybe one day fans will see Nikki and Brie along with a couple of old and new friends will make their reality TV comeback.
