Inside ‘Members Only: Palm Beach’ Star’s Heartbreaking Family Tragedy

Rosalyn Yellin is one of five well-to-do women at the heart of Netflix’s new series, “Members Only: Palm Beach.” However, Yellin’s life hasn’t been all Floridian glitz and glamour in 2025; earlier this year, the philanthropist shared a heartbreaking family tragedy on Instagram. “It is with a heavy heart I’d like to share with you that my 103-year-old grandmother passed away peacefully,” Yellin wrote.

The March 9th post features sweet photos of Yellin and her grandmother, along with some warm memories of what she meant to her. “She loved to sing and dance and bake,” Yellin wrote, going on to explain that she treasured the time she spent on her grandparents’ farm as a child. Her grandmother was clearly a major part of the family, and Yellin also shared some of her incredible life story.

Her Grandmother and Grandfather Survived The Holocaust

Yellin’s grandmother, Jeanette, wasn’t just a beloved matriarch. As the reality star shared in her commemorative post, she also beat impossible odds by surviving the Holocaust. “She was caught several times, taken to camps and even jail,” Yellin wrote of the years Jeanette spent fleeing from danger. As she also shared, her grandparents reconnected after the war and built a beautiful family. “Bubby, I love you so much,” Yellin concluded her emotional post. “Thank you for surviving so I could be here today.”

The Palm Beach socialite shared multiple photos of her grandmother across social media over the years, including a 2023 video of Jeanette meeting the newest member of the family at the time: her great-great-granddaughter, Lottie Blue. Alongside one of the photos from her tribute post, Yellin called her grandmother “the strongest woman I know,” a loving testament to the impact Jeanette had on her.

The Series Follows Yellin’s Fabulous Palm Beach Life

Tragedy aside, Yellin’s life in Palm Beach is full of opulence. She joins Hilary Musser, Taja Abitbol, Ro-mina Ustayev, and Maria Cozamanis in the new Netflix series, which explores their shared journey through Palm Beach high society. As Netflix describes, the show seeks to determine, “Who is the true queen of Palm Beach?”

One of the most intriguing aspects of this group of women is their diverse positions within the hierarchy. “I moved up in Palm Beach society pretty quickly,” Yellin explains in the show’s official trailer. Ustayev, by comparison, is the quintessential new kid in town, and Musser has a longstanding history with the ultra-wealthy county. All eight episodes were set to premiere on Netflix on December 29, 2025.
