“The Bold and the Beautiful” star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is officially a mother of five boys. The actress returned to social media this week after months of silence and shared the happy news with her followers.
In an Instagram post, Wood gave fans a glimpse of her “little slice of paradise.” The soap star shared photos documenting the birth of her fifth child with Elan Ruspoli. They named him Talon.

Wood welcomed her newest bundle of joy at home. Judging by the photos, it appears the actress chose a water birth.
In one of the photos, “The Bold and the Beautiful” star can be seen sitting in a bathtub, seemingly in labor. Another shows Wood in a birthing pool, cradling baby Talon in her arms as she shares a sweet kiss with her husband, Elan. She wrote:
“Welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby boy at home. This season has been all about being still, soaking in every precious moment, and embracing the quiet magic of new beginnings. Social media took a little back seat, but I’m so happy to be back and say hello again.”
The idea of Wood having a water birth at home isn’t surprising at all. During her previous pregnancies, she shared photos of herself holding her newborn while sitting in the bathtub.
Even her character, Steffy Forrester, had a water birth at home on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Not to mention, Wood has always been into all things zen, including ice baths.
‘The Bold & the Beautiful’ Star Embraces Motherhood
In the same post, Wood expresses her joy in motherhood. The “Bold and the Beautiful” star embraces life as a mom and cherishes the family she’s built with her husband, Elan.
“One day you’re young, hip and fun,” Wood wrote. “And the next thing you know you’re going to bed at 9pm, have a coop full of chickens, sourdough starter on the counter and you never want to leave your house.”
Previously, Wood admitted that she and Elan have always wanted a big family. Speaking with PEOPLE in 2021, she revealed, “Elan and I dreamed of having a large family as we are both only children and are over the moon that our dreams are coming true.”
In addition to baby Talon, Wood and Elan are proud parents of four adorable boys: Rise Harlen, Lenix, Brando Elion, and Valor James.
