Wardrobe malfuntions can happen to anyone. However, not everyone experiences them on live television. That’s just what happend to comedian, when actress and Golden Globe Awards host Nikki Glaser appeared on “Live with Kelly and Mark” and suffered a clothing-related mishap.
Nikki’s Mini Dress Showed Off a Little too Much
When Glaser stepped out in front of the cameras for her appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark,” the star opted to wear a simple yet sleek minidress with floral details, along with high-heeled boots that almost reached her knees.
“[T]he comedian made her entrance and took a seat opposite Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on Wednesday, when her retro powder blue dress rode up,” Page Six explained.
At first, Ripa complimented Glaser’s ensembled, saying, “Oh my God, so chic. Very chic. I love this.”
However, the longtime host of the show then added, “Oh, wait — you can see your underpants.”
Glaser responded by fixing her dress and crossing her legs while saying, “It’s just for you. Right down the barrel. Sorry, guys.”
Ripa kept things cool, and told her guest, “I don’t mind at all.”
That prompted Glaser to add, “Good, good. I’ll send you a picture later.”
This Isn’t Nikki’s First Wardrobe Malfuntion
Getty“Celebrities, they’re just like us! Everyone’s had a wardrobe fail at some point, whether it’s a stained shirt, a ripped hem, or even an accidental nip slip,” Bored Panda points out. “And no one is immune to these cringeworthy moments, not even celebrities. For them, however, the stakes are higher. With cameras flashing and fans watching every move, a fashion mishap can spiral into a headline-making event.”
“Despite having teams to perfect every look, a single slip during a red carpet appearance, concert, or live broadcast can cause major chaos,” Bored Panda adds.
Granted, when it comes to a fashion-focused fail, “the actual professionals know how to handle wardrobe malfunctions with poise and problem-solving,” BuzzFeed notes.
For instance, when Glaser endured the wardrobe malfunction while being interviewed on “Live with Kelly and Mark,” she didn’t freak out. Instead, “she handled the blunder like a pro,” according to Us Weekly. That’s perhaps, in part, because this isn’t the first time she’s had to deal with an accidental body-baring situation.
Indeed, “Wednesday’s awkward on-camera moment wasn’t Glaser’s first,” Page Six points out. “In January 2025, the stand-up comedian popped out of a gold corset dress while lip-syncing Taylor Swift’s ‘Whose Afraid of Little Old Me’ for a social media video ahead of the 2025 Golden Globes.”
Page Six explains that “[i]n the clip, the comedienne shimmied and danced to the hit track, adding the word ‘oops’ over her chest when the bustier slipped down.”
The accident prompted plenty of comments from her Instagram followers, with one person writing, “This is absolutely epic!! Commitment out of ten! 👏👏”
“☠️ dead. SO GOOD. Queen Swiftie,” another fan added.
A third person wrote, “OOPS SHE DID IT AGAIN 👑”
“I love you!!! You are hilarious and a swiftie! You are winning, Queen! 👑,” came from another social media user.
Someone else left a comment, simply saying, “😍oh my 🤣”
