Mark Consuelos Stars in His First Broadway Play

On March 27, previews began of the Broadway play “Fallen Angels.” Mark Consuelos stars in the comedy alongside Rose Byrne and Kelli O’Hara.

The theater company captured the plays’ first curtain call. It showed the “Live With Kelly and Mark” host taking his bows alongside Byrne, O’Hara, and their fellow castmates.

Consuelos was the first to rise up from his position on stage and take his solo bow. The audience gave him a standing ovation.

The cast then gathered together for one bow as a group alongside Christopher Fitzgerald (Willy Banbury), Aasif Mandvi (Fred Sterroll), and Tracee Chimo (Saunders). The cast then toasted one another and the audience with beverages before the curtain fell.

Fans shared their delight in the post’s comments section. They added their well-wishes for Consuelos and the cast as the production continues.

“I was in the audience !! Such a funny play and what a wonderful production! There were laughs that were scripted and a few that weren’t,” one audience member noted.

“Beautiful set! Love the cast!” a second Instagram user exclaimed.

A third fan penned, “Love love love this curtain call.” “Fantastic! Good job, everyone,” wrote a fourth social media user.

“I’m really excited about it. I love being in the theater,” Consuelos exclaimed. “I actually never thought it would be in the cards for me.”

“I’ve done theater, I’ve done small theater, off-off-off Broadway theater, I love it. I think it’s magic. I think it’s so quintessentially New York.”
