Meghan Markle Gets Unexpected Job Offer After Netflix Confession

Meghan Markle may be about to land a brand-new career opportunity in the UK, thanks to a lighthearted confession she made on her Netflix show “With Love, Meghan.” During the second season of the series, Meghan revealed that one of the things she misses most about living in Britain is listening to her favorite radio station, Magic FM. That nostalgic admission has now led to an open invitation from the network’s leadership.

Magic FM Offers Meghan Markle a Job

Speaking at Radiocentre’s Tuning In conference, Magic FM Content Director Paul Sylvester confirmed he was more than happy to roll out the red carpet for the Duchess of Sussex. “The offer is on the table: if the Duchess wants to host a show, she’s very welcome,” Sylvester said, and later confirmed on X.

According to Hello, he later doubled down on social media, writing, “I did say exactly this,” in response to fans quoting his remarks. While Meghan has yet to comment on the offer, her candid moment on Netflix already sparked headlines.

During the episode, her guest Tan France teased her for loving Magic FM, calling it “such a grandma station.” Meghan laughed off the remark, replying, “I’ll be that grandma.”

She even compared the vibe to her current favorite U.S. station: “My favorite station in my car is called Mom Jeans. These are throwback, great sing-alongs, you forget they existed. I love it.”

The Duchess of Sussex Balances Family and Philanthropy

The Duchess of Sussex has also revealed that her children — Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4 — have picked up her love of sing-along playlists. In an exclusive interview with People earlier this year, she shared, “It used to be all Kidz Bop all the time in the car. Now for drop off and pick up, even Lili will say, ‘Can we listen to Mama Jeans?’ I’m like, ‘It’s Mom Jeans, but yes, we sure can!’”

Her growing cultural influence has earned recognition from Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, who praised her on the “Aspire with Emma Grede” podcast: “One thing we learned early with Meghan… she has remarkable influence — remarkable.” Sarandos pointed to the success of her and Prince Harry’s first Netflix project in 2022, calling it “one of the most watched documentaries we’ve ever had.”

Meghan and Prince Harry recently made a joint appearance at Kevin Costner’s One805LIVE! charity concert in Santa Barbara. Harry presented an award to the local fire chief, while Meghan briefly joined him on stage in support of first responders.

The outing followed Harry’s reunion during a private tea with King Charles III earlier this month, as well as a personal tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on the third anniversary of her passing.
