Meghan Markle โ otherwise known as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex โ has shared some unseen photographs from her marriage to Prince Harry.
Markle, 44, married the prince on May 19, 2008, in a lavish wedding ceremony at St George’s Chapel, in Windsor Castle, in Berkshire, England.
Naturally, the ceremony was highly publicized, with footage and photographs widely circulated on television, in magazines, on the internet, and on social media.
However, Markle and the prince had countless private photographs taken. Markle has recently shared some on her own social media accounts to celebrate the 8th anniversary of her marriage. She did so with two separate posts.
The First Set of Pictures Were From the Evening Reception
Taking to her Instagram account to share the images with her 4.5 million followers, Meghan Markle posted a carousel of images from her and Prince Harry’s evening reception.
The carousel comprises 12 photographs. All of them were taken on the dancefloor at the reception โ seemingly during the couple’s first dance. They are a mixture of color images and black-and-white ones.
The first few pictures show a slow and sensual dance. However, things seemed to liven up, as the couple look far more animated as the dance progresses. The final pictures in the set show the loved-up couple kissing. In the very last one, a merry Harry is pulling a hilarious face.
The Second Set of Pictures Were From the Wedding Ceremony
The second post was a carousel of images taken at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding ceremony.
There are 12 photographs in this post, too. Again, they are a mixture of color and black-and-white images.
The pictures are a real variety. Some feature Meghan and Harry, one features Sir Elton John performing at the event, one is a picture of those in attendance, and one features Harry hugging an unspecified female in a yellow jacket.
Comments are turned off on the posts, unfortunately. That means Instagram users have no opportunity to have their say on the images.
Markle also shared some of the wedding pictures in her Instagram stories. Notably, she added some music to the images, including Paula Abdul’s “Forever Your Girl” and Wilson Pickett’s “Land of a Thousand Dances.”
The royal wedding was attended by a plethora of famous guests. They included the aforementioned Sir Elton John. Additionally, Sir David and Victoria Beckham, George and Amal Clooney, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, James Corden, Joss Stone, Will Greenwood, James Haskell, Johnny Wilkinson, Clive Woodward, Nachos Figueras, James Blunt, Marcus Mumford and his wife Carey Mulligan were there.
One of Markle’s most recent Instagram post before the wedding images featured a glimpse of her and Harry’s daughter, Princess Lilibet. The image only shows the four-year-old from behind. However, it was still a rare treat for Markle’s fans and fans of the British royal family.
Wearing all red, Lilibet’s fiery red hair is on show in the image. Clearly, that’s one genetic trait she inherited from her father.
With a sneak peek of her young daughter and unseen photographs from her wedding posted within a matter of days, Meghan Markle’s millions of Instagram followers will be delighted.
