According to US Weekly, Prince Harry and Markle appeared at the One805LIVE! Concert in Carpinteria, California, at Kevin Cosner’s Oceanside property. The concert took place on September 20, and their appearance came as a surprise to the audience.
It’s worth noting that the concert raises money for first responders in Santa Barbara County. This is Prince Harry’s third time attending the annual concert in support of first responders.
The report states that the couple gathered backstage before presenting an award to Mark Hartwig, the fire chief for Santa Barbara County.
The event featuring Prince Harry and Markel was star-studded. It included performances from Good Charlotte, Trisha Yearwood, and singer Thelma Houston. The concert is described as “an unforgettable evening of music, community, and support for our First Responders.
The event’s website says, “One805LIVE! is our flagship annual benefit concert, bringing together legendary artists and passionate supporters to raise funds for essential equipment and mental wellness programs for Santa Barbara County’s first responders.”
Prince Harry Recently Had a Meeting with King Charles III
As mentioned, Prince Harry has recently taken a significant step toward reconciling with King Charles III. The two met in London after Harry traveled to the UK for the WellChild Awards. He met with his father on September 10 at Clarence House. This was their first meeting after almost two years.
An insider spoke to US Weekly about the meeting between the father and son. They said, “The meeting was sparked by a handwritten letter from Harry earlier this year to Charles expressing his desire to reconnect.”
The person continued, “They were not sure it was going to happen until just in the last week.” They then described the reunion between Prince Harry and King Charles III as “super positive and very relaxed.”
The insider also said, “They were catching up personally about the children and what has been going on with Charles and his health. There were hugs and tears at the meeting.”
The Meeting Came After the King had Experienced Health Struggles
According to Today, King Charles III was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer in early 2024. This diagnosis came after he was receiving treatment for a benign prostate condition. This led to various medical examinations.
Keeper of the Privy Purse James Chalmers gave an update in June 2025. It states, “The King demonstrated remarkable resilience by undertaking a wide program of public and State duties at home and overseas while continuing to receive treatment.”
