“Charlotte, my daughter, and Louis, to be fair, Charlotte, particularly, is obsessed with Taylor Swift. We went to see her on her Eras Tour and it was amazing,” the father of three explained, fondly recalling the outing.
Prince William took his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to see the concert in London back in 2024.
“We were watching from up there, which is quite a long way from where the actual action is happening but the atmosphere was so incredible, you could actually feel the floors shaking when they were all dancing, it was brilliant,” the crown prince cheerfully remembered.
Prince William then requested the “Heart Breakfast” hosts to play “Opalite” just for his children. Naturally, the request prompted the radio hosts to inquire about Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding.
Everyone wants to know more about the big day and whether or not there will be any royal guests.
“We believe there is a big wedding happening this summer,” one host quipped.
“Oh yes! Have you got an invite?” the other asked the Prince of Wales.
However, the royal remained coy and refused to give a clear answer.
“No comment,” the 43-year-old dodged the question. “I’m hoping and I’m sure there might be an invitation around but we’ll see.”
Fans agree that his answer seems incredibly indicative that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be in attendance. However, everyone will need to wait patiently for confirmation.
