Alexia Jayy is one of those artists in the Top 4, as she is happy to be representing Team Adam in the finale. The 31-year-old singer from Alabama is hoping to give her coach, Adam Levine, his fourth win as a coach.

Alexia hails from Irvington, Alabama. She grew up surrounded by music in church and family life.

Jayy has described her upbringing as simple but deeply rooted in musical tradition. That upbringing continues to shape her sound today.


2. Music Has Been Part of Her Life Since Childhood

In an interview with Medium, Alexia said she started singing at a very young age. She performed her first solo at just 2 years old. She even joined a musical group at the age of 9.

Since then, she has competed in many talent shows. Alexia even had the privilege of performing at the iconic Apollo Theater. She has been able to build a strong foundation long before her breakthrough this season on “The Voice.”


3. Alexia Is a Mother of Three

The singer-songwriter has talked about being a single mother on the show. She now has a boyfriend, and they have since blended their families.

She brought her son, Matthew, and he brought his son. The couple has also had a daughter, Harmony, together.

During her blind audition, Alexia actually brought her son onto the stage after her performance. He actually said he listens to Maroon 5 music, and then Alexia shocked everyone by picking Adam as her coach, so her son could have played a part in that.
