Allen Previously Shared Health Updates on Social Media
Monday’s post wasn’t the first time Allen has opened up about his health. On April 13, he shared a different photo of himself in a hospital bed on his Instagram grid, offering insight to fans about why he needed neck surgery.
“Please pray for healing,” he wrote. “Today is hopefully the beginning of the end of my neck pain. I’ve been struggling with this for a few years due to traveling and touring, but we think we’ve finally found a solution. Also, very grateful for my fiancée who’s helped me navigate the process 🙏🏼.”
Additionally, Allen has documented his sobriety journey on social media. On April 28, he marked 23 months of being sober, declaring via Instagram, “Next stop… 2 YEARS.”
He also reflected on his journey in May 2025, ahead of his one-year anniversary of ditching alcohol.
“I’m approaching 1 year sober and my entire life has changed,” the country crooner shared on Instagram. “I never thought I’d look like this, and I especially never thought I’d feel like this. I woke up today with the realization that I’m actually happy, for what I believe, is the first time ever.”
Aside from his own health, Allen is a huge proponent for the fight against Alzheimer’s, after his mother died following a battle with the degenerative disease.
Hopefully, Allen’s third neck procedure is his last, and he can finally find lasting relief from his pain!
