Snoop Dogg is being awfully nice to his fellow coaches on “The Voice” before they go head-to-head on season 28.
In a new backstage interview with ET released via Facebook on September 18, 2025, Snoop and fellow coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, and Michael Bublé discussed the upcoming season, including the special gifts they have lined up for singers who join their teams during the Blind Auditions. To the coaches’ delight, Snoop surprised them with some bling, too.
Two of the Four Coaches Will Repeat Their Past Gifts on Season 28, Including Snoop Dogg

It’s been a long-standing tradition on “The Voice” for the celebrity coaches to present each new member of their teams with a token of appreciation for choosing them. In ET’s interview with the season 28 coaches, they each revealed what gifts they have in store.
“I asked my niece if she would design a hockey jersey, a real Canadian thing,” Bublé revealed.
“And I do a little sweatshirt that’s got rhinestones on it,” McEntire chimed in.
Horan, who won seasons 23 and 24 of “The Voice,” said that he’s sticking with the same gift he gave out during those winning seasons, explaining, “I didn’t really know what to do the first time I came on here, so I just did, like, a purple-y, kind of lilac, hoodie with the flowers on it and I won twice, so I thought, ‘I’m gonna keep it going!'”
“I give a way a Death Row chain,” Snoop said, referencing the iconic hip hop label he was originally signed to and now owns. “But I have yet to win ‘The Voice,’ so maybe I need to change up something.”
Snoop Dogg Surprised Each Coach With Their Own Death Row Chain
Snoop has given away the gold chains before on “The Voice,” which feature a pendant of the Death Row Records logo encrusted with simulated diamonds.
When Horan heard Snoop say during the ET interview that they’re returning, he said, “Well, I still want one of Snoop’s. I need a Death Row chain.”
“Yeah, we all do,” Bublé said, and McEntire agreed, “Yeah!”
Lo and behold, Snoop had already thought to bring them each their own necklace, and presented the coaches with red jewelry boxes. When he brought them out, the coaches were genuinely thrilled.
“No, really!?” Bublé exclaimed, and Horan said, “I’ve been asking for one of these for six months!”
As they thanked him, Snoop said, “Welcome to the family. I love y’all more today than I did yesterday.”
Where To Buy Your Own Death Row Records Chain Like Snoop Dogg’s
Jealous of the coaches and members of Team Snoop? You can buy your own Death Row Records chain and pendant replica — made in collaboration with King Ice — for $180 or $260, depending on the size. The necklace is available in 14K gold or white gold.
Death Row Records was founded in 1991 by Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, The D.O.C., and Dick Griffey, according to NBC Insider, and Snoop appeared on the label for the first time the following year, as a young rapper on Dr. Dre’s first solo release for the film “Deep Cover.”
Though it released iconic hip hop albums early on, the label later struggled and Death Row filed for bankruptcy in 2006, per NBC Insider. After being purchased and passed around to various corporations, Snoop purchased the label in 2022.
Season 28 of “The Voice” premieres on September 22 at 8 p.m. Eastern time on NBC.
