We watched the final night of Knockouts on “The Voice” season 28 last week. Now, it’s time for the 16 remaining artists to take the stage for the Playoffs. Each of the coaches — Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, and back-to-back defending champion Michael Bublé — has four artists remaining. They will fight to be named the winner of “The Voice” season 28, but how do these Playoffs work? Find out the details in our “The Voice” 2025 spoilers below.
‘The Voice’ Playoffs on NBC
NBC is switching things up this season. We have 16 artists remaining, and they will perform over two nights.
“The Voice” 2025 coaches will then get to choose only one artist from their team as their “finalist” to represent them on the Live Shows. The other three artists on their team get put into a pool, which America then votes on to send one of them each week to the Live Shows.
Night 1 of the Playoffs kicks off on Monday, December 1. For this first night of the Playoffs, we will see Team Reba and Team Bublé both perform.
When the performances are done, Reba and Michael will each select their finalist. The remaining six artists from Team Reba and Team Bublé will go into the pool. Viewers then go to NBC.com/VoiceVote or use the Voice app to cast their vote for one of the six not-selected artists to make it through to the Live Finale.
On Monday, December 8, the same thing will take place for Team Snoop and Team Niall. That means each night we will have three artists total moving on to the Live Finale, which kicks off on December 15.
America will vote for their favorite of the six finalists, and then “The Voice” results and winner will be revealed on Tuesday, December 16.
Who Is Left on ‘The Voice’ Season 28?

NBCTeam Bublé consists of Jazz McKenzie, Max Chambers, Rob Cole, and Trinity. Can he make it three seasons in a row?
NBCTeam Niall consists of Aiden Ross, Ava Nat, DEK of Hearts, and Kirbi.
NBCFor Team Reba, we have Aaron Nichols, Aubrey Nicole, Peyton Kyle, and Ryan Mitchell.
NBCTeam Snoop consists of Mindy Miller, Ralph Edwards, Toni Lorene, and YOSHIHANAA.
“The Voice” airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.

Instead of 6 finalists – I would have loved to see 8 finalist (4 selected by the coaches), and the next four out of everyone else (voted by the fans). This curren format has taken everything out of the viewers hands, and it makes it less interesting. I don’t like it. Sorry.
