Joseph Duggar rose to fame through TLC reality shows, which followed the lives of the Duggar family for years. While the family hasn’t been on reality TV since 2020, Joseph Duggar’s ongoing situation has brought renewed attention to the people closest to him, including members of Kendra Duggar’s family.
One person drawing interest is Lauren Caldwell, Kendra’s younger sister, who has remained connected to the extended Duggar circle over the years.

1. Lauren Caldwell Is the Second-Oldest Caldwell Sibling
Lauren Caldwell was born on May 22, 2000. She is the younger sister of Kendra Duggar and the second-oldest child of Paul and Christina Caldwell.
Lauren has seven younger siblings: Micah Caldwell, Nathan Caldwell, Timothy Caldwell, Olivia Caldwell, Jesiah Caldwell, Isaiah Caldwell, and Moriah Caldwell.
2. Lauren Caldwell Was Homeschooled Growing Up
Like her older sister, Kendra Duggar, Lauren was homeschooled growing up. She spent her earlier years in Woodbridge, Virginia. When she was 8, her family moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas, where her father, Paul Caldwell, had taken a new ministry job.
3. Lauren Caldwell Was Part of Joseph and Kendra Duggar’s Wedding
Lauren was in the bridal party for her sister’s wedding to Joseph Duggar on September 8, 2017. Lauren served as Kendra’s maid of honor. Kendra also had their mother, Christina Caldwell, serve as one of her bridesmaids.
Lauren Caldwell was also asked to be in a second Duggar wedding when her good friend Lauren Swanson tied the knot with Josiah Duggar on June 30, 2018. Lauren served as a bridesmaid, as did her sister, Kendra Duggar.
4. Lauren Caldwell Was Previously Engaged to Titus Hall
In October 2020, the Caldwells announced that Lauren was engaged to Titus Hall. He popped the question during a trip to Panama City Beach in Lower Grand Lagoon, Florida.
However, in December 2020, the Caldwell family and the Hall family deleted any mention of the engagement from their social media accounts. Titus later married Jennifer Damron.
5. Lauren Caldwell Lives at Home With Her Parents & 7 Siblings
Since her broken engagement, Lauren Caldwell has remained at home with her parents and seven younger siblings.
The family was recently displaced during the ongoing Joseph Duggar situation. The 25-year-old and the rest of the Caldwell family had been living in a home owned by Joseph and Kendra Duggar.
According to The Sun, Paul and Christina Caldwell moved into the 1,540-square-foot home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, after the birth of their ninth child in May 2021.
However, after living there for nearly five years, the Caldwell family was evicted by their daughter and son-in-law, Kendra and Joseph Duggar.
In a jail call, obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Kendra told her husband, “My family said they’re moving out in a month and everybody is going to hold them to it.” The phone call was made on March 25, 2026.
Lauren’s father, Paul Caldwell, then turned to the public for prayer and financial support, launching a GoFundMe on Saturday, April 4, 2026. However, the original fundraiser was taken down.
In his original message, Paul shared, “The funds raised will go directly toward legal representation to help us navigate the challenges ahead, as well as finding a safe place to live. Both are essential for our well-being and peace of mind. We are grateful for any help, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story with others who might be able to support us.”
On April 8, 2026, the Caldwell family’s GoFundMe was relaunched. This time, the Caldwells rephrased where the funds would be going, taking out any mention of legal representation.
Paul shared, “My family is facing a difficult and urgent situation. We are in need of covering displacement expenses. We will not be using these funds for our legal expenses.”
As the ongoing Joseph Duggar situation continues to unfold, interest in the extended Duggar family has only grown. Lauren Caldwell has largely stayed out of the spotlight, but her close connection to the Caldwell and Duggar families keeps her name tied to the latest developments.
