‘2 Broke Girls’ Stars Kat Dennings & Beth Behrs Tease On-Screen Reunion in Exciting New Photo

The two stars of the iconic CBS sitcom “2 Broke Girls” have teased an on-screen reunion with an intriguing new photograph.

Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, both 40, starred in the popular show for six seasons and 138 episodes from 2011 until 2017.

Per IMDb, the show’s premise was as follows: “Two young American women waitressing at a greasy spoon diner strike up an unlikely friendship in the hopes of launching a successful business – if only they can raise the cash.”

Dennings, also known for playing Darcy Lewis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, currently stars in the ABC sitcom “Shifting Gears,” while Behrs starred in another CBS sitcom, “The Neighborhood,” for eight years until its conclusion in May this year.

Marvel star Dennings took to social media to post the picture, in which she features alongside former co-star Behrs and television producer Michelle Nader.

Kat Dennings Says ‘The Boys Are Back’

Kat Dennings shared her reunion with “2 Broke Girls” co-star Beth Behrs with the 6.6 million followers on her Instagram account.

She humorously captioned the post, “the boys are back” and Ludacris’ track “Area Codes” (featuring Nate Dogg) plays over the top of the post.

The photograph also includes “2 Broke Girls” and “Shifting Gears” writer, producer, and director Michelle Nader, which prompted Dennings’ followers to go into a frenzy. Many of them believed it suggested “2 Broke Girls” was coming back.

One of Dennings’ followers commented, “DO NOT PLAY WITH MY EMOTIONS …. ARE WE GETTING NEW 2 BROKE GIRLS 👀👀🤞🙏.”

Another follower wrote, “giiiiirls we need new seasonssssss.”

Someone else asked, “r we getting season 7? 🥺”

“Okay, now a 2 Broke Girls revival? I mean, it’s what we all want 😍❤️,” proclaimed another person.

Finally, one Instagram user commented, “STOP PLAYING!!!!”

The truth, however, while still fantastic news, is a little less exciting for “2 Broke Girls” fans.

Beth Behrs Will Guest Star in Season 3 of ‘Shifting Gears’

Sadly for “2 Broke Girls” fans, Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs will not be making more episodes of their hugely popular show.

However, in equally exciting news, Behrs will be appearing as a guest star in the opening episode of season 3 of “Shifting Gears” alongside Dennings.

“Shifting Gears'” official Instagram account posted a funny video of the pair to tease the on-screen reunion.

The caption on the post begins “What’s better than 1 broke girl? 😉” and concludes “@bethbehrs reunites with @katdenningsss as a guest star on the Season 3 Premiere of #ShiftingGearsABC! 🎉”

Many fans of the pair were incredibly enthused by this news, with one of them commenting, “Whaaaaaat!!!!!! 😮😮😮😮 I literally got chills, love them both soooooo much 😍😍😍.”

Another fan wrote, “TV REUNION WE ALL NEEDED!!!”

“We needed them together so much😍😍😍😍,” noted somebody else.

Last but not least, one Instagram user said, “Omg them together I LOVE IT 🥰 I NEED THEM.”

It’s not yet known who Behrs will play in “Shifting Gears” or if her role will go beyond the first episode of the new season. However, it’s exciting regardless and we can’t wait to see her reunite with Dennings on television.

Per IMDb, “Shifting Gears'” premise is as follows: “Headstrong widower Matt owns a classic car workshop. When his separated daughter and her teenage children arrive at his house, the real restoration begins.”

As well as Dennings, it stars Tim Allen, Seann William Scott, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, Maxwell Simkins, and Barrett Margolis.

“Shifting Gears” returns with season 3 in 2027 and you can watch it on ABC.
