As ‘7th Heaven’ Marks 30th Anniversary, Star Honors the Series Inside Her L.A. Home — VIDEO

Thirty years after the hit family drama “7th Heaven” premiered in August 1996, memorabilia from the show is the first thing you’ll spot walking into actress Beverley Mitchell‘s Los Angeles home.

In honor of her being on HGTV’s new competition show “Totally 90s House,” the actress gave interior designer MaCenna Lee a tour of her house and a day to renovate a room for an episode of the network’s new YouTube series “Celebrity Style: 90s Edition” released on August 29, 2026. They pulled off an epic transformation in Mitchell’s primary bedroom, but they didn’t touch all of the “7th Heaven” souvenirs in the living room, including the giant show poster hanging over her mantel!

Lee was a bit surprised by all the “7th Heaven” paraphernalia she saw as soon as she walked in the door of Mitchell’s home, from the mantel poster to a framed clapboard to a special surfboard she won at the 2002 Teen Choice Awards.

But Mitchell quickly explained that the memorabilia is for “Catching Up With the Camdens,” the rewatch podcast she hosts there with fellow “7th Heaven” alums David Gallagher and Mackenzie Rosman, with the living room doubling as their “studio space.”

“Typically, I don’t feature pictures of myself on said mantel,” Mitchell laughed. She also told Lee it was the first house she ever bought, recalling, “This is actually the house that I bought while I was working on ‘7th Heaven’ and going to college. I was going to film school.”

“What’s crazy about this house is it pretty much looks the same way it did when I moved in here 26 years ago,” Mitchell admitted. Over the years, the house she shares with her husband, accountant Michael Cameron, has been featured on shows including “Trading Spaces” (when “7th Heaven” castmates swapped houses) and MTV’s “Cribs.”

The cast of “7th Heaven” won Choice TV Drama at the 2003 Teen Choice Awards.

From 1996 to 2007, “7th Heaven” aired mostly on the WB, with a 10th season airing on the CW. The series followed the lives of the Camden family, led by a Protestant minister (Stephen Collins) and his wife (Catherine Hicks) as they raise seven children. Mitchell played one of those kids, alongside Barry Watson, David Gallagher, Mackenzie Rosman, Nikolas and Lorenzo Brino, and Jessica Biel.

In 2025, Variety reported that Biel’s production company was actively developing a “7th Heaven” reboot with CBS, with her serving as one of the show’s executive producers.

Sources told the outlet at the time that “the new show would focus on a diverse family, and that none of the original cast members would appear. As the project is still in the very early stages, deals are still being worked out and no network or streamer is attached.” It’s not clear if plans have moved forward for a new version of the show.

You can catch Mitchell competing on HGTV’s “Totally 90s House” alongside other 90s stars on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. Eastern or stream the show via HBO Max.
