Christy Knowings, a former star of Nickelodeon’s “All That,” has passed away at the age of 46 after suffering an asthma attack that left her with brain damage, TMZ reports.
A family member told the outlet that Knowings was hospitalized on Friday, Aug. 7, following the attack and was placed on life support. She remained on life support through Tuesday, when he family decided to take her off. She passed away on Tuesday night at a Los Angeles hospital.
Knowings spent three seasons on the Nickelodeon show, playing numerous different characters, including Penny Lane and Jessica, in the recurring “Whateverrr!!!” sketch with Amanda Bynes. She also appeared in “Sesame Street.” In 2020, Knowings released a folk single titled “To the World.”

Kenan Thompson Remembers Christy Knowings As A ‘Real One’
Thompson, who also starred on “All That,” shared a post on Instagram, paying tribute to Knowings.
“Man this one hit hard!!! Rest well Christy!!! Never could have imagined this day!! Sending so much love to her family!! She was a real one and one of the funniest people out here!!! Gonna miss you buddy!!! Show @christyknowings some love y’all!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾,” he wrote.
Another ‘All That’ Star Died Earlier This Year
Kianna Underwood, who was also known for her work in “All That,” tragically passed away at the age of 33 in January.
She was the victim of a hit-and-run driver in Brooklyn on the morning of Friday, Jan. 16, with reports saying she was “crossing at the intersection of Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville when she was struck around 6:50 a.m. by a black Ford SUV. She was dragged under the car for nearly two blocks.
Her father, Anthony Underwood, shared a message on Facebook on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 17, where he wondered if there was anyone who was there to “comfort” his daughter in her final moments.
“All I can think about is did anyone show my baby that same compassion, as someone ran her over like roadkill. Did anyone try to comfort my baby as she layed dying in the street alone, or did they just stand around with their phones,” he asked in the end of his post
Underwood joined the cast of Nickelodeon’s hit show in 2005 for the tenth season, replacing Jamie Lynn Spears while joining Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon, and Kenan Thompson
