Charlize Theron‘s hairstylist, celebrity stylist Adir Abergel, has revealed the magic behind Charlize’s beautiful half slicked back and half wavy hairdo that she wore in Paris. The age-defying actress, 50, was decked out in a glamorous Dior dress at the time, and her hair was truly a masterpiece in itself.
What’s The Secret Behind The Look?
Adir explained how Charlize’s bob haircut can actually still be seen underneath the rest of the wavy hair if a person takes a closer look, as the wavy cascading hair was made from separate extensions which he clipped in. So Charlize’s real hair, the bob, was slicked back, whereas the rest of the hairstyle was crafted by Adir.
The hair wizard noted how he had a limited amount of time to complete the look which wasn’t the easiest to work with. Speaking on the Who What Wear podcast, Adir shared: “All of these amazing women were doing press all day. So then you go from press and then all of a sudden you’re like, you have an hour 45 minutes to lay full-on extensions and then make sure the hair dries, and then make sure the makeup artist does [their job].”
Though the hard work clearly paid off as fans admiring the look online adored it and gushed in the comments section of a post Charlize made rocking Adir’s hairstyle. One user said: “Goddess.”

Dripping In Dior
Charlize oozed glamour in her gorgeous Dior gown, which was made predominantly from black and white lace. The base of the dress was made from the white lace while places where Charlize required more modesty were designed over with a black layer, tastefully covering her up while serving as a perfect accent on the dress.
Further features of the dress included a low back and thin spaghetti straps, a line of pearl buttons on either side of Charlize’s waist, and an asymmetrical hem for added wow factor. Black droplet earrings tied the look together, matching the accents on the dress and drawing attention to Charlize’s timeless facial features.
The hairstyle secret being spilled comes shortly after Charlize wowed in a daring black dress in Korea which flowed to the ground like a waterfall. It starred a sexy low back, flaunting Charlize’s amazing figure, and she paired the gown with a pair of chic sunglasses and a slicked back bun.
Penned in the post’s caption, Charlize simply wrote: “And so it ends… I love you Korea.” Then in the caption of a video she posted of herself wearing the same dress, she added: “Another hot night. Korea.”
