Donna Mills Reveals the Intense Daily Fitness Routine Keeping Her Fit at 85

Donna Mills is proving that staying active at 85 takes serious dedication. The former “Knots Landing” star recently revealed the demanding fitness routine she follows to keep moving. Similarly, 79-year-old Ingrid Boulting is looking fit and healthy after trading Hollywood for a quieter life in California.

According to Fox News, Mills begins her routine with exercises that have remained part of her life for years. The actress said she does “100 sit-ups a day” and 50 leg lifts. She also incorporates stretching, cycling and regular tennis.

The actress said her approach to fitness is far from effortless. In fact, her routine can include up to an hour on an exercise bike. She also sometimes plays tennis five times a week.

“It’s a lot of stuff,” Donna Mills admitted. “You got to work at it.”

Stretching and Cardio

Donna Mills has continued to make exercise a major part of her everyday life. Her routine combines strength exercises with cardio and flexibility work.

At home, Mills has a ballet barre in her personal gym. It allows her to continue using elements of the training that first shaped her approach to exercise.

The actress also spends between 45 minutes and an hour riding a bike. Tennis is also an important element of her cardio fitness.

“I play tennis five times a week sometimes,” Mills said. She added that staying active is “very, very important.”

Donna Mills Credits Her Ballerina Background

Mills believes much of her discipline can be traced back to her early years as a dancer. Before becoming known for playing Abby Cunningham on “Knots Landing,” the actress trained as a ballerina.

“I was on pointe, the whole thing,” Mills recalled.

According to Fox News, Mills said ballet gave her a level of discipline that has stayed with her throughout her life. The actress described ballet as “very hard” and said the demanding training created habits she still relies on today.

Cutting Out Sugar While Keeping One Favorite Treat

Mills also takes a disciplined approach to her diet. According to Fox News, the actress has avoided sugar for years after reading the book “Sugar Blues.”

However, the actress has never claimed to follow a perfect diet. Mills has one snack she still refuses to completely give up: Doritos.

Nacho cheese is her flavor of choice. The actress said her love of Doritos has followed her throughout her Hollywood career, and that bags would often be waiting for her in her trailer on various film sets.

A New Chapter for Donna Mills at 85

Donna Mills’ commitment to staying active comes as she embraces a busy new chapter in her life. The actress recently launched an OnlyFans account at 85. She said the platform gives fans a more personal look at her everyday life.

The actress also views this stage of her life as an opportunity to inspire others and prove that getting older does not have to mean slowing down or giving up on new experiences.

“I’d like to show people,” she said, “and particularly women, that it doesn’t have to be over.”

In other news, 59-year-old Pamela Anderson brought classic Hollywood glamour to Venice this week in a dramatic scarlet gown.
