Halle Berry is home after a dreamy vacation, and she shared photos on Instagram on Sunday, August 9, of what she loves about coming home.
The actress posted pictures of her beloved pets, including dogs and cats, lounging in the sunshine or on blankets. Berry also shared a photo of her cuddling her dog, and another of herself looking a little upset about her broken toe.

Fans reacted to the post in the comment section. “I think you need to adopt another kitty… from me,” a comment reads. “Coming home to fur babies is the best,” another person shared.
“Thank you for showing us your beautiful self. Once again sorry, you have a boo boo on your toe,” a third fan wrote. Halle Berry Takes Gorgeous Family Vacation in Fiji
This is not the first time Berry has spoken about her broken toe, but now she is giving fans a closer look at her injury.
Days earlier, the star informed fans that she had broken her toe while playing Pickleball during her vacation on Kokomo Private Island in Fiji. She also shared several photos on Instagram from the trip, including her 60th birthday cake (she will turn 60 on August 14), their meals, a gorgeous waterfall, loved-up photos with her partner, singer and songwriter Van Hunt, and pictures of her on the beach. In the caption, she reflected on their trip.
“IT’S A WRAP! This family vacation has been one for the ages! Thank you to the entire staff of @kokomoprivateisland Island for your hospitality and generosity of spirit,” she wrote about the vacation. “Everything was sheer perfection! So thoughtful and all done with so much joy and love. Ima, thank you for looking after my family so beautifully! You helped my son get dive certified, nursed my daughter through seasickness, encouraged Van to jump into the waterfall, and cared for my broken toe (yes, playing pickleball), and even helped us catch a few fish! We will miss you most of all!”
She continued, “And the pre-birthday LOVO night celebration was epic and we shall never forget it! The sweet island songs you all sang and delicious cuisine paired with the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen made the night truly magical. It’s true, Fiji does have the happiest people on Earth. We can’t wait to return to paradise!”
This is also not the first time that Berry has broken a bone. In an interview for the promotion of Netflix’s film, “The Union,” she reflected on the injuries she sustained during her career. “Got an arm broken, broke ribs twice, two ribs one time, three ribs another time, broke a tailbone, broke two toes and finger,” she said in August 2024, Vibe reports. Berry also discussed how being an actress has helped her learn fighting styles, including capoeira for DC’s “Catwoman.”
