As of 2026, former “Dancing With the Stars” pro Sharna Burgess and “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Brian Austin Green are happily engaged. Together, they are the parents of one son, Zane, who will celebrate his fourth birthday this summer.
Although they met during the early days of the pandemic, their love has withstood many challenges.

GettyIn late 2020, Sharna Burgess teased she was no longer single. At the time, many speculated she was seeing “Selling Sunset” star Jason Oppenheim. However, the Australian dancer wasn’t eager to share details on her new romance.
“I thought that when I met someone, I would be like scream it from the mountain tops,” the season 27 champion told Us Weekly at the time. “And itโs actually, itโs almost the opposite. I want to hold it close to me for just as long as I can to stay in this space and just enjoy that human for as much as I can.”
Shortly after, photographers spotted Sharna at an airport with actor Brian Austin Green. They confirmed their relationship, noting they’d been dating for a few weeks at that point. They shared a business manager, who introduced the pair.
In early 2021, they went public with their relationship with a steamy Instagram post. Sharna uploaded a photo of the pair kissing on a balcony and simply captioned it, “๐ ๐ ๐ ๐”
The Couple Describes Their ‘Storybook’ Romance
Once they made their relationship official, everyone wanted to know more. Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess suddenly became one of the hottest couples in Hollywood.
“It’s storybook because I never expected to meet and be with somebody that covers everything the way Sharna does,” the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star told Entertainment Tonight in 2021. He touched on his favorite traits about the dancer, including how wonderful she is with his sons.
“She’s just the whole package, and she’s somebody that I can talk to and trust. I trust her input on things, which is hard to find,” Green added. Fans quickly began to see what a perfect match it was.
“I never knew it could feel like this. I never knew it could be like this, and I’m grateful for every day and the time that I get to share and spend with Brian and the kids,” Sharna Burgess chimed in.
At the time, Brian Austin Green wasn’t looking for love. Sharna came into his life and completely changed things.
“I was really in a place of like, ‘I’m just doing what I’m doing.’ I’m building chicken coops and building little bonfires with the kids and we’re just doing these things, and if somebody wants to come in and join this, they can,” Green remembered. “But the bar for me and who I let into that seemed so high at the time that it didn’t honestly seem like somebody could fill it. And then Sharna came along and it was like, ‘Oh man. I can’t wait for my kids to meet her.’ And sure enough, it absolutely paid off. My kids love her, they love her to death.”
They competed on “Dancing With the Stars” season 30 together, finishing in 13th place out of 15 couples. Shortly after, they welcomed their son, Zane, in the summer of 2022. Green proposed in 2023, which Sharna happily accepted.
The Family Safely Evacuated Their Home After a Wildfire Threat
Today, Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green are still going strong to this day, no matter what life throws their way. Most recently, the threat of wildfires forced the family to evacuate their Los Angeles home.
