Big Brother 28 Live Feeds: New Alliances Form as Diamond Veto Decision Looms

The “Big Brother 28” house is getting crowded with new alliances as players attempt to establish their positions ahead of a potentially game-changing Veto ceremony.

Taran Armstrong and Aysha broke down Day 41 during the Aug. 17 Rob Has a Podcast live feed update. Yash remains Head of Household, while Angela Murray and Haley face eviction and Dee Valladares has emerged as the preferred target.

However, two Veto powers could still disrupt the plan.

Yash holds the regular Power of Veto following his OTEV victory, while Rick Devens possesses the Diamond Power of Veto. With both players deciding whether to make a move, the houseguests are simultaneously creating new groups that could shape the next stage of the game.

New Big Brother 28 Alliances Take Shape

LaTrice officially gave one developing group a name: the Covenant.

Another coalition settled on “Mosh Pit” after the houseguests debated what to call themselves.

Armstrong and Aysha discussed how frequently new alliances have formed this season and questioned how meaningful each group can become when players maintain overlapping relationships.

Still, those connections could prove important as the house becomes increasingly divided.

Melody and Mallory are among the players considering where they fit within the emerging structure. Mallory’s position has also improved, with Armstrong and Aysha highlighting her growing stock in the game.

The changing dynamics come as Yash and his closest allies continue planning for the weeks ahead.

However, Haley’s role remains complicated.

Yash Faces Decision Over Haley

Yash and Taylor have discussed working with Haley, but Armstrong and Aysha questioned their reluctance to remove her from the block.

Their hesitation suggests Haley may currently be viewed more as a useful number than a fully protected member of their plans.

That distinction could become especially important if the Veto ceremony doesn’t unfold as expected.

Devens and Dee have also been weighing their options as the threat against Dee grows.

According to Armstrong and Aysha, the pair discussed whether they could trust the necessary votes or whether Devens should use his Diamond Power of Veto instead.

The advantage gives Devens an opportunity to influence the nominations, but playing it would also require him to reveal a significant piece of his game.

Meanwhile, Yash’s own Veto gives his side an opportunity to protect Haley. Armstrong and Aysha noted that failing to make that move could leave an ally unnecessarily vulnerable.

Despite the strategic uncertainty, Day 41 also gave the houseguests time for lighter conversations.

The formation of Mosh Pit inspired discussions about actual concert mosh pits, while players also found themselves talking about the meaning behind the name “Big Brother.”

Those moments offered some levity before the game returns to a potentially consequential ceremony.

With Dee becoming the preferred target, Haley still on the block and two different Veto powers available, Yash’s HOH remains unsettled.

The growing number of alliances may suggest players are preparing for the next phase of “Big Brother 28,” but first they have to survive a Veto decision that could redraw the house yet again.
