A “Big Brother” romance is turning into something much bigger.
Elsa Rae and Marcus John, who met during “Big Brother UK” series 22, have announced they are expecting their first child together—just six months after first crossing paths in the house.
The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on March 29.
“we’ve been keeping a little secret…our bubba due October 2026! we are so very excited 🤍🍼xx,” the caption said.
The announcement featured a sweet setup featuring a baby onesie reading “and then there were three,” alongside knitted booties and an ultrasound photo.

ITVViewers watched Elsa, 22, and Marcus, 23, meet during the ITV2 series, which aired from late September through mid-November 2025. Their relationship developed inside the house, despite some awkward moments early on, and continued after the show ended.
Elsa went on to finish as runner-up, while Marcus was evicted earlier in the season in eighth place.
The couple opened up about the exciting news to Daily Mail.
“We feel very excited about being first time parents, and naturally nervous at first but we can’t wait for our new chapter and adventure with our new little life in it,” Rae told the outlet. “We weren’t trying but it’s the best surprise ever.”
Rae also reflected on finding a connection through the show.
“I never thought that I’d find love let alone the love of my life on TV but one thing I did say to Will [Best] and AJ [Odudu] when they asked what would be the best to come out of ‘Big Brother,’ I answered ‘a happy ending’ and I truly got that. I couldn’t be happier,” she added.
Will Best and AJ Odudu are the hosts of the ITV2 series.
The outlet also reported that the couple plans to move in together in Manchester as they prepare for their baby.

Zelah Glasson, who appeared on series 22 of “Big Brother,” wrote, “Congratulations guys🥹💙,” while Jenny Baird, also from the same series, added, Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
“Love Island” star Georgia Harrison commented, “No wayyy! Congratulations xxxx.”
More “Big Brother” alumni joined in, including Emily Hewertson of series 22, who wrote, “omg congrats guys 🥺❤️.” Noky Simbani from series 20 added, “aww congratulations darlings 🥹🩷.”
Kerry Riches of series 20 commented, “Congratulations you two! This is amazing news 🫶,” while Sam Ashby, who also appeared on Rae and John’s series, wrote, “congrats divas!!”
Rae and John’s baby is due in October 2026.
