Kyle Cooke is standing by estranged wife Amanda Batula as she faces public backlash after confirming her secret romance with “Summer House” co-star West Wilson.
In photos exclusively obtained by Page Six, the former couple were seen together in New York City on Friday, April 3.
What We Know About the Meeting
The images captured the Bravo stars walking their dogs while maintaining a low profile.
They both wore baseball caps and sunglasses.
At one point, Cooke comforted Batula with a hug, signaling his support amid the online criticism she’s endured since revealing her relationship.
Batula sported a brown leather jacket, gray sweatpants, and sneakers, while holding a lavish bouquet of flowers, reportedly gifted by her younger brother, Frank, who accompanied her during the outing, per the outlet.
She also was seen wearing oversized headphones.
This marks the first time Batula has been seen in public since she and Wilson confirmed their romance via Instagram Stories on Tuesday, March 31.
The announcement sparked controversy, particularly because Batula’s longtime friend Ciara Miller previously dated Wilson before their messy 2023 breakup.
Cooke Previously Showed His Support for His Ex
Ahead of the public sighting, Cooke opened up about his concern for his ex in an interview with street journalist Adam Glyn on social media.
“I’m actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest,” he said, noting that Batula gave him a “heads up” before making the announcement.
He added, “I talked to her last night and I think — I understand people have all sorts of opinions and I’m not justifying any behavior. But, from what I’m seeing, she’s kind of getting cyberbullied.”
Cooke also weighed in on Wilson’s role in the situation. “All I know is, West seems to be the kind of guy playing multiple women at the same time,” he said.
He described Amanda as “not well,” adding, “Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and is trying to come to terms with it.”
The romance between Batula and Wilson reportedly grew out of years of friendship.
In a joint statement confirming their relationship, the couple said, “What’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
As the fallout continues, Cooke’s public support for Batula demonstrates a commitment to empathy and understanding, even amid complex personal and reality TV dynamics.

Finally Kyle shows empathy and kindness for his x wife . Shame on her close friends for shaming her and taking sides.
Who cares! I bet this is completely scripted. Bravo has lost many viewers and need to get more!🙄🥱
