Brittany Cartwright is a busy woman these days. Not only is she a doting mother, but she’s also one of the stars on the new season of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.” Now, she’s opening up about her new romance and why she hasn’t introduced her beau to her son, whom she shares with “Valley” alum Jax Taylor.
Cartwright spoke to Too Fab in September 2025. Regarding her rumored romance, the “Valley” star said, “I’m not in a relationship yet like the world is trying to say.” She continued, “Trying to take it a little bit slower and figure out.”
Brittany then said, “It’s somebody I know from my past who I used to date like 15 years ago. So we’re just kind of like reconnecting but having fun. He’s a great person. I like just enjoying time right now. We’ll see where it goes.”
Based on reports, the new man in Cartwright’s life is Brandon Hanson. When asked if Hanson had met her son, Cruz, she stated, “We’re just waiting.” Cartwright added, “Trying to take it a little bit slow, but he’s (Brandon) a dad too, and I think that’s super important and that means a lot to me.”
Cartwright Also Responded to Negative Comments
Cartwright was recently seen in Mexico with Hanson. They were having a great time on the vacation, but “Shahs of Sunset” star Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi commented on a fan page, inferring that the “Valley” star may be pregnant.
She wrote, “No shade, but is she pregnant too? I mean, he’s holding her belly, and the belly is definitely bellying.”
Cartwright responded to the harsh comments in her Too Fab interview. She said, “I just think women should not ever tear each other down like that.” The reality television personality continued, “I made it very well known that I was not okay with it, but I wish her nothing but the best. And I did recently get an apology email from her. I am not somebody that holds grudges. I am not a hateful person whatsoever.”
She added, “The bullying on social media has already taken over, and it’s just too much. Especially woman to woman, there needs to be support, especially mother to mother as well.”
She Previously Opened up About ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test’
There are 18 contestants on the new season of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.” In addition to Cartwright, the list includes Teresa Giudice, Gia Giudice, Eva Marcille, Jussie Smollett, and Kody Brown. Cartwright opened up in an August interview on the “Detox Retox With Tom Schwartz” podcast.
She said of her experience, “It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life.” Cartwright continued, “I’ve been very open about heights and how that terrifies me, so doing different things like that, I’m proud of myself.” She also stated that she cried multiple times while filming.
“Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” premieres on Fox on September 25.
