During Part 1 of Bravo’s three-part “Summer House” season 10 reunion, host Andy Cohen wasted no time diving into the headline-making romance between Amanda Batula and West Wilson.
Wilson’s ex, Ciara Miller, arrived with receipts about Batula and Wilson’s relationship timeline and didn’t hold back as she bravely unloaded her feelings to her former best friend. Miller and the cast expressed frustration directly at Batula, especially after Miller had been by her side as she shared struggles within her marriage to Kyle Cooke.
Wilson, meanwhile, remained notably quiet throughout the first part of the reunion. Even Carl Radke picked up on Wilson’s limited responses and lack of accountability for the fallout his relationship caused within the group.
Carl Radke ‘Didn’t Feel’ Genuine Apology From West Wilson During the ‘Summer House’ Reunion
BravoIt appears that Carl is still a mess after rewatching the intense part one of the “Summer House” season 10 reunion.
While attending a reunion watch party with castmate Kyle Cooke on May 26, Radke shared with Us Weekly that he is still unsettled by West Wilson’s lack of accountability while filming the reunion.
“I think a lot of us were hoping to feel the feeling you get when someone actually apologizes and takes accountability. I mean, especially watching it now, I didn’t feel it,” he said.
He continued, “You know, and that’s what’s hard there. People are really hurt. Ciara, Kyle, I mean I’m looking at [Kyle] right now, like he’s my best friend, and watching that [expletive].”
GettyRadke noted that Wilson and Cooke in particular developed a strong bond, making the romance between Wilson and Batula that much more damaging. “The footage of West at his family house with Kyle. He not only brought Ciara home, he brought Kyle home, and then does that. It’s just diabolical.”
Having to rewatch part one of the reunion, Radke added that it was “hard to process.”
On March 31, Batula and Wilson released joint statements on Instagram confirming their romance. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” part of the statement read.
It was just in January that Batula and Cooke issued their own statement confirming their separation after four years of marriage.
Radke Weighs in on Whether Wilson & Amanda Batula Can Go the Distance
GettyWith Radke’s friendship with Wilson remaining uncertain, he also expressed skepticism about the future of Wilson and Batula’s newfound romance.
When a TMZ cameraman stopped Radke at the airport and asked, “Does this couple stay together?” Radke responded, “Absolutely not!” In fact, Radke shared the same sentiments during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on May 12.
However, when asked if he and his cast could one day get behind Wilson and Batula’s relationship if it does go the distance, he did not completely rule it out, stating that for “right now it feels like thatโs really hard. I think there’s a lot of [expletive] that weโre learning, figuring out.โ
Speaking to People during his reunion watch party, Radke shared whether he had spoken to either Batula or Wilson since the reunion filming in April.
“West has reached out to me. I haven’t responded,โ Radke told the outlet. As for Batula, he said, “Amanda has reached out to me after the reunion, but I was in London running the marathon. We texted a little bit back, but I haven’t spoken to her since that. Yeah, I haven’t spoken to them.”
Part 2 of the “Summer House” season 10 reunion airs on Tuesday, June 2, on Bravo.
