Danielle Olivera has some major news about her baby boy.
The “In the City” star shared an emotional update Monday, Aug. 24, revealing that her son, Aidan Santos Heavey, has officially left the neonatal intensive care unit after spending 63 days in the hospital.
Olivera shared a carousel of photos on Instagram showing the latest milestone in her son’s journey.
Aidan Is Finally Home
“Yesterday Aidan graduated from the NICU after 63 days! He’s finally home 🥹💙 We love you Stony Brook, thank you so much for everything,” she wrote.
One of the photos showed Aidan wearing a tiny graduation cap as he marked the special occasion.
Fans celebrated the news alongside Olivera and her partner, Eoin Heavey, with many people sharing their own experiences with babies who spent time in the NICU.
“Best feeling ever for mom and dad!! Congrats, you finally get to have your baby snuggles at home. As a preemie mom, you’ll never forget this day,” one fan wrote.
“With the cap I was expecting ‘King of New York’ from the Newsies. Congratulations Aidan!” another person commented.

He Was Born in June
Olivera and Heavey welcomed their first child, Aidan, on Sunday, June 21. Their son arrived about 10 weeks earlier than expected and required care in the NICU.
Heavey announced Aidan’s birth in an emotional Father’s Day Instagram post, explaining that their son would remain in the hospital while he received medical care.
“Aidan Santos Heavey born June 21, 2026 – 10 weeks early – longest day of the year both solstice wise and for mum and dad. He’s heading to summer camp at NICU for his first 2/3 months in this world but mum and dad can’t wait to bring him home hopefully soon,” Heavey wrote.
He also praised Olivera for how she handled the unexpected early delivery.
“Fitting for his mum, Aidan translates to ‘fiery one’ or ‘bringer of fire’ and she was nothing short of amazing after getting contractions at 10pm on Friday going to emergency room at 3am in Southampton then getting transferred by ambulance to Stony brook for a further 24 hours,” he wrote.
Heavey thanked the medical professionals who cared for both Olivera and their son during the difficult time.
“Nurses, doctors, everyone at @stonybrookmedicine are incredible – we are mesmerized by the miracles they perform on a daily basis,” he wrote.
Now, after more than two months of hospital care, Aidan is finally home with his parents.
Heavey and Olivera have continued sharing glimpses of their son’s progress and milestones since his premature arrival. His NICU graduation marks a major moment for the family as they begin this next chapter together.
