Fans have continued to keep up with both “Below Deck Mediterranean” stars, Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher, on social media after the two Bravo stars welcomed their son, Kayden, in June 2025.
However, Cameron recently revealed that she was having major concerns with her health, sharing with fans on Instagram on April 9 that her “back and neck” were in “absolute shambles” during her pregnancy with her son and only got progressively worse.
Gael Cameron Shares Positive Health Update
“Below Deck Med” star Gael Cameron recently gave fans a positive health update after sharing on Instagram Stories that she was having issues with her back and neck, which had “gotten worse” after giving birth to her son, Kayden, in June 2025.
According to Daily Dish, Cameron shared a photo at her chiropractor and physiotherapist’s office in Australia, sharing, “I can’t tell you how much I needed this! My back and neck has been in absolute shambles since pregnancy and has only gotten worse since then.”
Cameron admitted that she initially wanted to “gatekeep” the doctors she sees because of how much they’ve helped her, but ultimately felt it was only right to share them with others.
“I’ve gone to the guys at [Vibe Health and Performance] for a few injuries including flying off a bike in a head-on collision a few years back and they had me back walking normal in record timing,” she added.
Cameron also shared a photo of her son, Kayden, who is nearing one year old, tagging along to her appointment. In the sweet snap, he smiles and claps his hands, as Cameron captioned it, “Kayden enjoyed our visit.”
Cameron Shares Her Son’s Love for the Sea
It looks like Kayden is already taking after his parents’ love for the sea. In March, Cameron shared an adorable video on Instagram of the two spending time at the beach, where she can be seen holding him up and gently lowering him so he could feel the ocean water. “When your favorite place is your favorite persons favorite place,” she wrote on the clip.
“Fills my heart so much that I’m able to share my favourite thing with the person I love most 🌊 This is going to be a wonderful ride little man,” she then captioned her video.
In January, Cameron shared clips of her and Kayden on adventures together, including spending time on the beach, hanging out in the pool, on a boat ride, and even teaching Kayden how to climb a rock wall. “I said I needed a new dive buddy. Life said: Let’s make one from scratch🤍🤿,” she captioned her videos on Instagram.
Cameron and Gallagher welcomed Kayden in June 2025. The pair initially met while working as deckhands on “Below Deck Med” season 9.
