Jesse Solomon Gives Update on Kyle Cooke, Teases West Wilson, Amanda Batula Timeline

Jesse Solomon shared an update on Kyle Cooke three weeks after West Wilson and Amanda Batula‘s bombshell relationship was made public. During an April 21 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” the ”Summer House” star said Cooke is doing okay, but didn’t love seeing recent photos of his estranged wife with her new man online.

“Kyle’s good all things considered,“ Solomon told host Andy Cohen. “But he’s starting to get angry and upset, especially, like, seeing them make out on the Yankees broadcast.”

Cooke and Batula announced their separation in January. The Loverboy founder had been publicly supportive of his ex after she released a joint Instagram statement with Wilson, confirming their romantic relationship was born out of a “genuine, long-standing friendship.” At the time, Cooke urged fans to go easy on Batula.

During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” a few weeks before the announcement, Cooke said he didn’t think rumors about Batula and Wilson were true, but he added, “If it made Amanda happy, I think I just would have to vote ‘yay.'”

Jesse Solomon Shared What He Knows About the Timeline of the romance

There has been speculation that Batula and Wilson’s romance started during “Summer House” filming last summer. On WWHL, Solomon noted that the two were “very flirty,” but added that he still doesn’t think anything was going on at that time.

“I really hope not,” he told Cohen. “It’s easy to look back now, and hindsight’s 20/20, but I don’t think that they were.”

He also revealed that while both he and Wilson’s ex, Ciara Miller, had “suspicions” about the romance, he was not told anything ahead of time.

“I had my suspicions, but I did not know until they made their joint statement,” Solomon said. “They both denied it to my face multiple times. …Amanda texted me apologizing, saying, ‘I’m sorry that I lied to you.'”

Solomon noted that he didn’t begin to question Wilson and Batula’s flirty friendship until late February.

Jesse Solomon and Kyle Cooke Ran into the Lovebirds

Solomon was deeply grilled about the timeline during which he suspected the romance. He told Cohen, “There was a lot of just like flirting. The boys went to brunch one day, and West went to brunch with Amanda after, and didn’t tell us he was going to brunch with her. And Kyle and I like ran into them at a bar [in] March.”

“And West and Amanda went to dinner without me in Miami when we were all there at the same time, and originally, I was just like offended, but then it made sense later,” the “Summer House” star added. “That was late Feb.”

Wilson has been adamant that there was no overlap between his romance with Batula and her marriage to Cooke. On the “Show Me Something” podcast, he clarified “everyone was single” when he and Batula first got together.

“We realized things were maybe a little bit serious in February, and that’s when this all started,” he shared. “There’s not a whole lot more to it than that.”
