Kyle Cooke is speaking out after the explosive “Summer House” reunion leak that has fans — and Bravo — buzzing.
The reality star addressed the controversy head-on after audio from the Season 10 reunion began circulating online on Friday, April 24.
In the clip, tensions between cast members appeared to boil over, adding fuel to an already complicated web of relationships.
Now, Cooke is clarifying exactly what viewers heard — and who it was directed at.
Cooke Does Not Hold Back on His Thoughts
Cooke made it clear that the leak is what truly frustrated him.
“Bravo takes it insanely seriously,” he said in a video shared to Instagram Stories. “They’re doing a full-blown cyber investigation. If you’re the one that leaked, you might wanna seek cover or counsel.”
Cooke also pushed back on speculation that someone on set recorded the audio directly.
“This was not a phone on set,” he explained. “If you have a phone on set, it’s stuck behind a pillow or couch cushion, so the cameras can’t see it.”
Instead, he suggested a more indirect method: “Someone [likely] took their phone and put it next to a speaker where there was a live feed.”
According to Cooke, the quality of the leaked audio points to it being pulled from cast microphones, making it unlikely that a simple hidden phone captured it.
He also dismissed the idea that crew members — like hair or makeup artists — would risk their jobs to leak the footage.
“I don’t really see why anyone would gain [from] having leaked this,” he added. “This is someone clearly acting on their own.”
Bravo Has Already Opened Up an Investigation
The Bravo network echoed that sentiment in a firm statement: “This represents a serious breach of trust and a clear lack of respect for the cast, crew, and the integrity of the production process. We take this matter very seriously and have launched a full investigation and we will take appropriate action based on our findings.”
Host Andy Cohen also weighed in, condemning the leak as both “disgusting and illegal,” noting that cast members had “laid their souls out emotionally for 10 hours” during filming.
Cooke also addressed a comment he made in the leaked audio that quickly caught attention.
“This was directed at West [Wilson],” he wrote via Threads, confirming that the term “schmuck” was aimed at West Wilson.
The controversy comes amid an already dramatic season.
Fans Can’t Wait to See the Reunion Unfold
Cooke and Amanda Batula announced their split in January after four years of marriage, calling the decision “mutual and amicable.”
Just months later, Batula confirmed a new relationship with Wilson — who also happens to be the ex of her former close friend, Ciara Miller.
With emotions running high and relationships shifting, the reunion was always expected to be intense.
Now, with the added layer of a leak and ongoing investigation, anticipation for the episode is even higher.
As Cooke put it, the day of filming itself was already “long and rough.”
