‘Summer House’ Star Lindsay Hubbard Has Epic Clap Back to Michael Rapaport’s ‘Carl’ Diss

“Summer House” star Lindsay Hubbard had some choice words for actor and longtime Bravo super-fan Michael Rapaport, who went on a rant in which he called her the most overrated personality on the entire network. Spoiler alert: Hubb House is not having it.

Rapaport, 56, set the whole thing ablaze on May 6, when he questioned why Lindsay’s “Summer House” arc has continued to revolve so heavily around ex-fiancé Carl Radke and his mother Sharon, more than two years after the bombshell altar split that ended their engagement. According to Rapaport, Hubbard’s storyline has been “Carl, Carl, and Carl,” and he wondered aloud whether it’s time to let it all go.

Lindsay, never one to sit idly by when other speak ill about her, fired back with a video of her own on Instagram, accusing Rapaport of hiding behind disabled comments and challenging him to bring the same energy face-to-face. She also reminded him — and the rest of the internet — that her life looks nothing like it did two years ago.

Lindsay Hubbard to Michael Rapaport: ‘Happy to Go to War With You’

Bravo star Lindsay Hubbard had a strong response to Michael Rapaport calling her “overrated.”

“Dear Michael Rapaport: if you wanna say something, turn your (expletive) comments on,” Hubbard began, before letting loose with a response uniquely her own.

“Don’t be a little (expletive) — you don’t want to do that,” Hubbard continued. “If you want to start a media war, I’m happy to go to war with you. You’re an old white guy who’s making comments about a much younger single mom. Did you forget that I had a baby? You think my only storyline the last two years has been my ex? OK. Maybe keep watching. You’ll see a very long, very overdue conversation coming up between Carl and I, and you’ll learn a lot. But overrated? I still have a lot more years to come, baby.”

She’s not wrong about her evolution. Hubbard welcomed daughter Gemma Britt in December 2024 with then-boyfriend Turner Kufe, a biotech investor she’d rekindled things with in late 2023. The pair split about five months after Gemma’s birth, but per Bravo’s Daily Dish, Lindsay has been crystal clear that they remain devoted co-parents.

She has come a long way, as her version of girls’ night now includes a baby monitor and 6 a.m. wake-up calls.

Hubbard Hasn’t Been at the Center of Drama on Season 10 of ‘Summer House’

Hubbard’s mama-bear glow-up has been front and center on season 10 of “Summer House,” and she hasn’t been the one stirring the drama pot in the house. This season, Hubb House has been pulled deep into the chaos of Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s unraveling marriage, plus the bombshell romance between Amanda and castmate West Wilson that has the entire fandom in a chokehold.

The show’s May 5 episode saw Lindsay throw shade at Kyle’s DJ career mid-“Freedom Dinner,” igniting an expletive-filled blowup that ended on a “To Be Continued” cliffhanger.

And the Hubbard-verse is only expanding. Bravo’s brand-new “Summer House” spinoff “In the City” premieres May 19, 2026, right after the Season 10 finale. The new show will follow Lindsay through her single-mom era in NYC — think of it as a more grounded, less Hamptons-shenanigans version of her life.

Thus, her message to Rapaport seems accurate: Mother Hubbard’s just getting started.
