“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Lisa Barlow confessed she was surprised by Captain Jason Chambers during the cast’s “Below Deck Down Under” yacht charter. She shared her honest opinion of the captain with host Andy Cohen during her recent appearance on the talk show.
First Impressions Are Everything
Lisa didn’t hold back when she was asked to speak about Captain Jason during her “Watch What Happens Live” sit-down on October 28.
One of the questions during the show’s “Work! The! Polls!” segment was, “who is the better match for Captain Jason: Britani or Heather?”
This prompted Andy to ask, “what did you think of Captain Jason as a captain of the boat?”
“He works really hard,” she answered. “I didn’t expect him to work so hard. He was busy, breaking a sweat. He does a really good job.”
Lisa confirmed her fondness for Captain Jason during the WWHL segment, “Does! Lisa! Love It?” The housewife was presented with different items, trends, and people before being asked if she “loved” them.
“Does Lisa love Captain Jason?” Andy asked.
“I loved Captain Jason,” Lisa responded, before she clarified, “I was not in love with Captain Jason.”
Favorite BDDU Crew Member
Andy went on to ask Lisa who her favorite crew member was.
“Besides Captain Jason,” the host teased.
“I had multiple. And they were so fun. Multiple,” she said. “My bartender was the best.”
During Lisa’s Bravo Clubhouse appearance, she was asked which Housewife or “Bravoleb” she was “least looking forward to seeing at BravoCon.”
Lisa gave a very diplomatic answer when she said that she “loves everyone.”
So, Andy recalled Captain Sandy Yawn’s recent comments on WWHL.
“Sandy, last night, was saying that she was a little intimidated to see you at BravoCon,” Andy told Lisa about the “Below Deck Mediterranean” captain.
“Me?” Lisa was surprised. “Oh my gosh, Captain Sandy. I love her. We went to London and I thought she was amazing. She’s cool.”
More RHOSLC & BDDU Crossover Moments to Come
Andy reassured Bravo fans that more would be revealed in season 4 of “Below Deck Down Under,” which will focus on the crew’s perspective of the RHOSLC charter.
“If you guys loved the ‘Salt Lake City’ episodes of ‘Below Deck,’ wait until you see the reverse side from the ‘Below Deck’ vantage point,” Andy said.
“I’m excited to see that. I’m nervous,” Lisa admitted.
