“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Stacey Rusch finally shifted the spotlight away from the rumors surrounding her love life onto Gizelle Bryant, whom Stacey believes is hiding a new beau. Find out what went down during the dramatic reveal in “RHOP” Season 10, Episode 3.
Receipts Are Revealed
Stacey debriefed her friend Jassi Rideaux on how the rest of the housewives, particularly Gizelle and Ashley Darby, were “not happy” for her when she announced she’d gotten back together with her ex-husband Thiemo Rusch. She continued on to tell Jassi that the pair had even “demanded” to see her divorce papers.
Stacey was surprised by the hypocrisy of Gizelle’s lack of support since she had also once gotten back together with her ex-husband Jamal Bryant during Season 4 of “RHOP.”
“Um, speaking of Gizelle, word on the street…” Stacey took out her phone to show Jassi sly photos of Gizelle on what seemed to be a romantic date. “I don’t know if you’re aware, but Gizelle has a new man.”
Stacey used Gizelle’s supposedly under wraps relationship as a way to prove that there was a double standard within the group. “It is beyond me that Gizelle calls me a liar and says that I’m a phony and a fake, when she’s the one faking it all along,” Stacey said to a producer during her confessional. “Why are the standards with me so different than everybody else?”
Stacey concluded, “so, while she’s worried about my man, we need to find out about her man.”
Who is Gizelle Dating?
Stacey told Jassi that Gizelle’s new man is a “retired NFL player.” The pair were then seen searching Shawn Springs, who was a 13-year NFL cornerback for the New England Patriots and the Washington Commanders.
Stacey asked if Jassi’s husband, Darius Harris, who currently plays for the New England Patriots, knows him. “I think that he probably knows of him,” replied Jassi.
Gizelle, who has been embracing single life all season now that her daughters have all left home, has yet to find out about Stacey’s big reveal.
The “RHOP” Season 10 trailer already teased Stacey bringing them to her attention, though. “Everybody knows that you have a boyfriend,” Stacey told her in one clip, while another moment shows Gizelle hugging Mauricio Umansky, the ex-husband of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards.
However, Gizelle denied anything romantic ever happened between her and Mauricio, during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on October 5.
When a fan asked if she would ever go on a date with Mauricio, Gizelle stated, “I would not. Girl code. He’s an amazingly beautiful man, but I would not because of Kyle.”
In another episode of “WWHL,” on October 19, a fan asked Phoebe Robinson who practices the best and worst girl code etiquette out of all the housewives.
“I feel like Gizelle’s a girl’s girl,” said Phoebe. “I think Gizelle is, deep-down, I think she likes to stir the pot because it’s fun for TV, but I think she has a good heart.
