“The Real Housewives of Potomac” cast is gearing up for the premiere of the show’s 10th season. Now, with less than a week to go, Bravo has released the first 10 minutes of the first episode on social media. In it, not only is there footage of Kargen Huger being released from prison, but it also shows all the ladies coping with her absence.
Bravo released the first look at “The Real Housewives of Potomac” on September 29. The video begins with a text overlay that reads September 2, 2025, as well as shots of a barbed wire fence. From there, it’s clear that the first shot is from Huger’s release date.
Huger’s face isn’t seen, but she can be heard reassuring herself that “it’ll be fine.” Additionally, once she’s in the rear of the car, her hands can be seen as she asks, “Do we have tissues in here?” She then graciously thanks the driver before the black Ford Expedition drives off.
The ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Ladies Gather
From there, the first look at season 10 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” cuts to news stories about Huger’s jail sentencing for her DUI. Then, we see Gizelle Bryant at her home, preparing for the cast to visit. The text overlay states that this occurs six months before Huger is released from jail.
Bryant says, “I feel so many different emotions. I wish this weren’t happening.” She then says, “Do I want Karen in jail? Absolutely not. But do I want to make sure that we don’t have a fifth DUI? For sure.”
After that, the ‘Real Housewives of Potomac” cast begins to arrive, with Ashley Darby being the first. They both discuss the realization that “Karen’s waking up in jail.” The clip also finds the two of them speculating about Huger’s living conditions while behind bars. Darby then says she hopes Huger is in the “AARP of jail.”
Next, Kierna Stewart and Wendy Osefo show up at Bryant’s home. This is as Darby and Bryant discuss Stacey Rusch and whether she’s “dubious.” Lastly, Rusch arrives for the group scene with the ladies. As they’re all together, Bryant says, “I just felt like we needed to be together. Every morning I wake up and I’m like, ‘Karen’s in jail.'”
Season 10 Marks a First for the Show
Season 10 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” premieres on Bravo on October 5. While it’s clear that Huger will appear in some capacity, this will be the first season in the show’s history that she will not be a full-time cast member.
In addition to Huger, Mia Thornon will also be absent. According to Bravo, she announced her exit from the series in April 2025.
