On April 22, Hulu unveiled its new reality TV lineup during its second annual Get Real House event, where Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” alum Stassi Schroeder revealed her new series, “House of Stassi,” premiering this summer.
A sneak peek offers a candid look inside Schroeder’s life since her last appearance on VPR season 8. The clip shows her balancing career ambitions while embracing her roles as a wife to husband, Beau Clark, and a mom to two young kids. Of course, there are also more unfiltered and messy moments that come with it.
The series is also bringing back familiar faces from the “Vanderpump Rules” world, including her close friend Katie Maloney.
Katie Maloney Makes Her Reality TV Return
GettyStassi Schroeder returned to our television screens as Lisa Vanderpump’s eyes and ears on “Vanderpump Villa,” but this time, fans will get a more intimate look into her real, everyday life in her new unscripted series “House of Stassi.”
During Hulu’s Get Real House event, Schroeder was joined by her series’ cast, including longtime best friend and former “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Katie Maloney. According to Deadline, Maloney is an official member of the cast, marking a long-awaited on-screen reunion for the pair.
Maloney was also joined at the event by her boyfriend, musician Nick Martin, who fans may also see appear on the series. Additionally, “Vanderpump Rules” alum Kristina Kelly was in attendance and confirmed that she, too, will be part of the show.
The cast lineup also includes Schroeder’s husband, Beau Clark, her sister, Georgianna Aubin, and friends Taylor Strecker, Rob Evors, and Taylor “Teddy” Donohue.
The last time fans saw Maloney on their TV screens was during season 11 of VPR, where she had been a main cast member since the show’s debut. Since stepping away, she’s found success in the podcast space, co-hosting “Disrespectfully” alongside VPR alum Dayna Kathan.
Maloney & Schroeder Bring Back Their Chemistry With Fun Game at Hulu’s Get Real House Event
During Hulu’s Get Real House event, Schroeder and Maloney proved that their friendship is still going strong long after VPR wrapped, as they shared laughs while playing a lighthearted game of “Most Likely To.”
When asked who is funnier between the two women, Schroeder was first to share, “I’m funnier. Okay?” Maloney agreed, “Stassi’s funnier. I’ll give her that. She’s quick-witted, and I just, I can’t compete.”
When asked who takes longer to get ready, Schroder said, “I would say Katie. We’re not annoying when it comes to that.” However, Maloney answered, “Probably Stassi.”
Funny enough, both women gave the same answer when asked who of the two is bolder, further proving that their years of friendship remain intact.
“Oh my God, we’re both so bold in different ways,” Schroeder shared with Maloney, giving the same answer, “I think we’re both bold in different ways.”
Fans in the comments section expressed their excitement about seeing these two besties back together. “So excited!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” a comment read. “I’ve always loved this friendship,” another read. “BFF goals 🖤🖤,” a fan wrote.
According to Deadline, “House of Stassi” will debut with two episodes on July 29 on Freeform. The entire season will be available to stream the following day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
