Part 1 of the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion finally tackled the relationship everyone had been talking about for months — and it quickly became clear that the emotional fallout surrounding Amanda Batula and West Wilson is still far from resolved.
The reunion episode, which aired May 26 on Bravo, focused heavily on the complicated timeline surrounding Amanda and West’s relationship following Amanda’s split from Kyle Cooke earlier this year. The situation became especially messy because Amanda and Ciara Miller were once extremely close friends, while Ciara and West previously dated during earlier seasons of the show.
With emotions already high entering the reunion, Andy Cohen wasted little time diving directly into the controversy that has dominated fan conversations online since Amanda and West’s relationship became public.
Ciara Miller Questions the Timeline
Part 1 made clear that Ciara Miller’s frustration was not just about Amanda Batula and West Wilson becoming a couple. It was about when the relationship started, who knew what and why she felt left out of the conversation.
Before the reunion taping, Andy Cohen asked Ciara, “Who do you feel more betrayed by?”
“Amanda,” Ciara responded. “I mean, I’m shocked by West, but I’m also really hurt by Amanda.”
Amanda also acknowledged the emotional weight of facing Ciara.
“I mean, there’s a lot of guilt. That’s my friend, and it kills me that I’m the one that caused her any pain,” Amanda said.
Once the cast sat down together, the timeline quickly became the central issue. Kyle Cooke claimed the connection between Amanda and West dated back earlier than they initially suggested.
“Amanda tried to play it off last night like it’s only been happening for a month,” Kyle said.
“At minimum, the second week of January they were together,” Mia Alario said.
Kyle then added, “There were blinds going back to June 2025.”
That context made Ciara’s reaction even more pointed. When Amanda said West had been there for her during the summer, Ciara pushed back.
“And where was I?” Ciara asked.
The exchange captured why the reunion felt bigger than a simple relationship reveal. For Ciara, the hurt came from feeling like one of her closest friends had been leaning on West privately while leaving her in the dark.
Ciara Miller Explains When Her Concerns Started
As the reunion continued, Ciara explained that her concerns about Amanda and West began long before their relationship became public.
According to Ciara, the dynamic between the two started feeling noticeably different during filming, especially off-camera. She recalled becoming confused after Amanda appeared increasingly protective of conversations involving West and frustrated that she was not being fully included in what was happening.
“I had called and she didn’t answer,” Ciara recalled. “Then texted, and she didn’t answer.”
That moment, combined with several other interactions throughout the summer, ultimately made Ciara question whether something deeper had already been developing between Amanda and West behind the scenes.
The conversation quickly intensified as Andy Cohen attempted to piece together the timeline alongside the cast, with several housemates reacting visibly to the growing tension on stage.
At one point, Ciara became emotional while explaining that the situation was never simply about dating someone she previously cared about.
For Ciara, the larger issue was feeling shut out by one of her closest friends in the house.
“And where was I?” Ciara asked. “And how many times have I asked you to hang out and you have either blown me off…”
As Amanda attempted to respond, Ciara fired back: “Shut the [expletive] up.”
The exchange immediately became one of the defining moments of Part 1, with viewers online sharply divided over whether Ciara’s frustration was justified or whether the situation had spiraled beyond what anyone expected.
Amanda Batula Opens Up About a Difficult Year
While much of the reunion centered on Ciara and West, Amanda also spoke candidly about how difficult the last year has been following her separation from Kyle.
Throughout the episode, Amanda appeared emotional while reflecting on the collapse of her marriage and the scrutiny surrounding her new relationship. Kyle, meanwhile, remained noticeably quieter than usual for large stretches of the reunion, occasionally stepping in but largely allowing Amanda to speak for herself.
The reunion also revisited lingering tension between Amanda and Kyle as the two continue trying to navigate life after their split while still filming together.
Meanwhile, West acknowledged he understood why Ciara felt hurt by the situation, though he denied intentionally trying to mislead anyone.
The emotional intensity of the episode ultimately underscored why this storyline has resonated so strongly with viewers: it was never simply about a new relationship. It was about friendships, loyalty and the complicated reality of moving forward inside such a tight-knit group.
And based on the preview for Part 2, the hardest conversations may still be coming.
Part 2 of the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion airs Tuesday, June 2 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
