Despite his 62 years on earth, Brad Pitt’s legendary good looks haven’t aged a day. According to celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow, the “F1” actor’s youthful appearance can only be partially attributed to his rumored facelift.
On a recent episode of the missSpelling podcast hosted by Tori Spelling, Dubrow said Pitt’s fresh-faced appearance is–at least in part–due to his naturally feminine beauty.
Why Does Brad Pitt Look So Good at 62?
GettyDubrow explained that, often, men who get plastic surgery end up looking “weird” and “incongruous.” However, Dubrow said this is not the case with Pitt.
“It looks altered, particularly with the gray hair or the no hair. It just looks weird. It doesn’t look weird for a woman,” Dubrow told Spelling. “The one who’s sort of gotten away with it–and I don’t know what he’s done–but the one who sort of hasn’t aged at all, and it doesn’t look like plastic surgery, is Brad Pitt.”
Spelling said she noticed that Pitt’s appearance improved after a recent lifestyle change: “I feel like his overall being, skin, and everything got better when he got sober,” she said.
Though Pitt’s decade-long sobriety certainly deserves some credit, Dubrow explained that Pitt’s natural appearance–despite the fact that he has probably, at least according to Dubrow, had a facelift–is because his looks are “based on feminine beauty.”
I think, if you’re a pretty guy…If you’re a Rob Lowe, if you’re a John Stamos, if you’re a Brad Pitt, you can have feminizing plastic surgery and it looks good,” Dubrow said. “But if you’re, you know, a different kind of handsome that’s not based on a feminine look and you have feminizing plastic surgery, it’s super weird.”
Dubrow concluded that, if you want to have full-on plastic surgery as a man in his 50s, 60s, or 70s, you have to be a feminine-looking guy.
Brad Pitt’s Facelift Debate
GettyThough Pitt himself has never confirmed getting any cosmetic surgery, fans began speculating that he may have gone under the knife after the star’s 2023 appearance at a Wimbledon game.
In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, cosmetics expert Dr. Arun Narang said that Pitt has “probably had a facelift” based on his analysis. According to Narang, recent photos of Pitt show he has less lines around his face than in years previous, and that “no amount of moisturizer” could have made those lines disappear.
“The tell-tale sign is around the ear,” Narang explained. “Those who have facelifts will have a scar there because that is where the skin is pulled tighter. Pitt has that scar, which convinces me he has had work done. You can hide a surgery if you want to.”
Facelift or not, one thing is clear: Pitt appears to be looking better than ever.
