Candace Cameron Bure Reacts to Charlie Kirk’s Death
On September 10, Bure took to Instagram following the news that Kirk was shot during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University for his “American Comeback Tour.” He was rushed to the hospital.
Bure initially posted a “Pray for Charlie” message on her Instagram account, noting in the caption, “Jesus, we need a miracle for Charlie 🙏🏻. Heal him ✝️ Lord.”
She later commented on the post, “Lord NOOOOOOOOOOO.”
After news broke that Kirk died, Bure posted a tribute to the conservative political activist and cofounder of Turning Point USA. He was 31.
The actress took to Instagram to write: “We love you, Charlie. Well done, good and faithful servant.” She included three red hearts in the caption.
Kirk’s organization, Turning Point USA, announced his passing in a note to employees and supporters. “It’s with a heavy heart that we, the Turning Point USA leadership team, write to notify you that early this afternoon, Charlie went to his eternal reward with Jesus Christ in Heaven,” the note read, according to CNN.
