Stephani Sosa Shares Who She Thinks Could Win ‘The Next Pro’

Though Stephani Sosa’s run on “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” has come to an end, she’s still eager to cheer on the remaining contestants.

After Monday night’s episode, there are just five dancers left in the competition: Allen Genkin, AJ Pritchard, Nina Mayster, Selena Hamilton, and Adele Zaikman.

After living with the group and competing with them, Stephani Sosa is opening up about the final five and who she thinks could truly be the next professional dancer on “Dancing With the Stars.”

Stephani Sosa Discusses the Final Five Competitors

Even though Stephani Sosa was competing against the other dancers on “The Next Pro,” there’s nothing but love between them. In a new interview, she admitted that she couldn’t choose a favorite dancer.

“All of them are amazing in their own way,” the 26-year-old shared with Parade. “We didn’t really get to see the other peoples’ rehearsals. We only got to see what was shown on TV, so I only know what happened between me and Tristen [Sanders] in rehearsals. I hope that moving forward, the show shows more of the rehearsal side of creating the routines and all that process, because that’s very important.”

Stephani Sosa has been eliminated from the competition. However, she also believes there could be a frontrunner.

“I feel like I’m really rooting for Allen [Genkin] because I know how great of a teacher he is and I’m not sure about the others and how they are at teaching,” the former DWTS troupe member added. “They’re all phenomenal. Anyone that gets through these next couple of challenges definitely deserves to be a pro because the challenges are only going to get harder, so if they’re able to go through those and make it all the way to the end then I feel like this is going to be perfect.”

Ezra Sosa Couldn’t Be Happier For His Sister

Ezra and Stephani Sosa made their television debut in 2019 on “So You Think You Can Dance” season 16. They both went on to serve in the “Dancing With the Stars” troupe in different seasons. While Ezra was eventually promoted to a pro dancer, Stephani was ultimately cut from the troupe.

Even so, Ezra feels tremendously proud of his older sister’s dance journey.

“He’s really proud of me,” Stephani shared with Parade. “He’s really glad that I was able to show quality and show that I can really keep my emotions and really control who I am. He, obviously, wishes I could have continued but he’s a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and he’s just proud of the way I carried myself, so I’m very happy that I had his support.”

In the interview, Stephani added that the door to “Dancing With the Stars” is still open. Hopefully one day, she can achieve her dream.

“Dancing With the Stars” season 35 begins at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15 with a second episode the following night on September 16.

“The Next Pro” will feature another new episode next Monday night at 8 p.m. See the final five perform and learn who will advance in the competition.
