It is the semifinals on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34, and Dylan Efron proved he is in it to win it. And after watching his dances in the ballroom, fans will agree that he has progressed so much since his journey started on the ABC dance competition.
This post will be updated live.
Dylan Efron’s Dances on Prince Night
The episode tonight, on Tuesday, November 18, had a special theme: Prince Night. This means that the final six contestants performed not one but two routines to the late musicians’ tracks. For Efron and his professional dance partner Daniella Karagach, it was a Cha Cha to “Kiss” and a Tango to “I Would Die 4 U.”
The first performance for Efron was the tango. There was no guest judge tonight, and Season 34 judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli were responsible for scoring him. They rated him a 27 out of 30.
Minutes after Efron performed, his dance was shared on the official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account. Photos from the performance showed him looking handsome as he delivered an unforgettable dance.
Fans flooded the comment section with their thoughts on his dancing and on whether the judges got it right with their scores. “My jaw dropped and stayed dropped,” a fan wrote. “By far the best choreographed dance of the night, and I haven’t been a Dylan fan until now,” a converted fan wrote.
It was also the first time that Dylan’s brother Zac Efron was in the ballroom and fans were thrilled. “WE GOT ZAC OMGGGG HE MADE IT,” a comment reads. “ZAC MY HEART DROPPED OMG,” another fan shared.
The Cha Cha
Dylan and Karagach scored a 28 out of 30 for their Cha Cha routine. Unfortunately, there are no perfect scores for Efron tonight, but fans are hoping he did enough to make it to he finals. The comment section of the “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account is filled with fans pleading not to send Dylan home, especially when his brother Zac is watching.
Dylan Efron Generates Excitement
Efron and Karagach have been hard at work preparing for the semifinals, and they’ve teased some of their rehearsal footage on social media. Efron posted a video on Monday, November 17, showing his strength and Karagach’s incredible core strength and choreography as they perform a tricky move. “Seeing everyone try this move at home has made our week. #DWTS.”
