Mark Ballas Surprises Fans With Cameo in ‘11 to Midnight’ Starring Whitney Leavitt’s Husband

Mark Ballas is not stepping away from the spotlight just yet.

The longtime “Dancing With the Stars” favorite recently made a surprise appearance in the Off-Broadway production of “11 to Midnight,” delighting theatergoers and fans alike with an unexpected cameo over the weekend.

All About Ballas’ Cameo

The production stars Conner Leavitt, husband of social media personality and “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Whitney Leavitt, and has quickly become known for bringing audience members onstage during a key moment in the show.

Created by viral dance duo Cost n’ Mayor — Austin and Marideth Telenko — “11 to Midnight” tells the story of seven friends through movement and dance.

For Conner’s debut performance earlier this month, Whitney herself ended up being pulled into the action.

The moment came shortly after she wrapped her Broadway run playing Roxie Hart in “Chicago: The Musical.”

Now it was Ballas’ turn to step into the spotlight.

The show’s official Instagram account celebrated the moment, writing, “@markballas absolutely crushed it!!!” alongside clips from the surprise cameo.

Ballas later responded in the comments with his own thoughts on the experience.

“Good times. Had a blast at the show. Congrats to all,” he wrote.

Fans Were Delighted to See the Appearance

Fans quickly filled the comment section with excitement, especially given Ballas’ recent Broadway connection with Whitney during their time in “Chicago.”

“Iconic!” one fan commented.

Another wrote, “This is seriously so amazing.”

Others loved seeing the growing friendship between Ballas, Whitney and Conner.

“This is seriously so amazing Mark was able to share the stage with Whitney and now the husband Connor,” one person joked.

Another added, “Love that the 3 of you are like siblings now. It’s precious to see.”

The surprise stage appearance comes shortly after Ballas wrapped his own Broadway stint, though it wasn’t without challenges.

During his run in “Chicago,” the former mirrorball champion missed several performances due to an illness that impacted both him and his household.

“Sorry, I will not be able to perform again tonight,” Ballas shared on Instagram Stories in April. “This illness has hit me and my whole household very hard. I have been doing everything I can to get back.”

He also addressed frustrated messages from some fans at the time.

“Please have grace with some of your aggressive DMs,” he continued. “It’s not like I’m doing this on purpose or can prevent what is happening.”

The dancer added that the setback was particularly disappointing because family members had traveled from England hoping to watch him perform.

“I even have family that has flown in from England that won’t be able to see me perform now. This is a massive disappointment for me & again I can’t apologize enough,” he wrote.

Conner’s Final Performance Is Monday

Meanwhile, Conner Leavitt’s run in “11 to Midnight” is nearing its end, with his final performance scheduled for Monday, May 25.

When Conner first joined the show, Whitney proudly celebrated the milestone on social media.

“thank you for always giving me my flowers @leavitt.conner but tonight, these flowers are yours,” she wrote. “So incredibly proud of you! THE HOTTEST WIZARD I’VE EVER SEEN.”

Now, with Ballas making a memorable surprise cameo, fans are loving every moment of the trio’s offstage and onstage bond.
