Tonight was all about TikTok on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34, as the “DWTS” 2025 couples took on some of the biggest trending songs from the social media platform. Whitney Leavitt rose to fame showing off her dance moves on TikTok, so this seems like a fitting night for her and her partner, Mark Ballas.
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star made a name for herself while dancing on #MOMTOK, but now she and Ballas would be dancing a samba to “Shake Ya Ass (Radio Edit)” by Mystikal for their week 3 performance. Week 3 Performance on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34
Whitney said she never thought making a TikTok would lead her to this. Whitney & Mark are performing the Samba to “Shake Ya Ass (Radio Edit)” by Mystikal, which was the first video she made on TikTok. To go from that to the “Dancing With the Stars” ballroom is amazing.
I am loving this routine. It has a ton of energy, but she has the moves and is matching energy with Mark. They are there working it and having fun, which is fun to see.
The judges loved it too and were impressed with Whitney’s control and how they were shaking it. They got a 24 out of 30, to be tied for the top of the leaderboard this week again.
Whitney & Mark Dominating the Dancefloor
While we are only in week 3 of “Dancing With the Stars” season 34, Whitney and Mark have definitely been one of the standout couples this season. They have been sharing the top of the leaderboard with fan favorite Robert Irwin and his pro partner Witney Carson.
During premiere week, Whitney and Mark performed a Tango to “Golden” by HUNTR/X, EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami & KPop Demon Hunters. She wowed the judges and the ballroom, as they scored a 15 out of 20 points from the judges. This earned them a tie on top of the leaderboard with Robert & Witney.
Then, during week 2, they performed a Cha Cha to “Play That Funky Music” by Wild Cherry for One-Hit Wonders Night. It was another night of wowing everyone in the ballroom. The judges were impressed, and they earned a 22 out of 30 points from the judges.
This, again, kept them tied with Robert & Witney atop the leaderboard. They survived the first elimination and should be safe tonight. They’ll probably be safe for a while. They happen to be one of the strongest couples this season for sure.
