In a new series of photos, the SLOMW star revealed she was on a girls’ trip that included former “Dancing With the Stars” pro, Lindsay Arnold.

Mikayla Matthews Unwinds With a “Much-Needed” Girl Trip
Mikayla Matthews and the rest of the SLOMW cast took the world by storm when the reality show premiered in 2024. While reality TV fame comes with many perks, it can also be draining. That’s precisely why Mikayla decided to go on a girls’ trip with some friends outside the SLOMW universe.
“A MUCH needed get away🌺🦜🍍🥹” the Hulu star shared in a new Instagram photo dump. In the first photo, Mikayla sports a stylish black bikini complete with white rose accents as the lush Costa Rican landscape stretches behind her.
In the next photo, she poses for a friendly photo with DWTS alum, Lindsay Arnold. Plenty of other Utah-based women make appearances, including Brylee Armstrong, wife of “Dancing With the Stars” pro Brandon Armstrong.
The trip appeared to be part of Lindsay Arnold’s “Movement Club” business. The 32-year-old shared that she’d be in Costa Rica with friends lately.
“Love you 🫶🏻” Lindsay wrote in the comments on Mikayla’s post.
“I just need you to know… You are absolutely glowingggg,” an excited fan added.
“Perfection 💕 ❤️” Whitney Leavitt simply noted, signifying their rekindled friendship was still going strong.
The Reality Star Keeps Her Friends Close During Challenging Times
After ABC canceled Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette,” Hulu also halted production on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” Understandably, many of the cast members felt devastated.
Amid the news, Mikayla Matthews has been creating content with her best friend, Mayci Neely.
Mikayla and Whitney Leavitt also seem to be strengthening their friendship as the uncertainty continues. Whitney is currently starring in “Chicago” on Broadway, and Mikayla has been seen commenting in support on social media.
Since Mikayla and Lindsay Arnold are close friends, it’s also entirely possible that “Dancing With the Stars” may cast another “Mormon Wives” star ahead of season 35. Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck competed last fall, much to fans’ delight.
