“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Whitney Leavitt left Utah behind for the city that never sleeps. Upon accepting the starring role in “Chicago” on Broadway, the Leavitts moved their family to New York City.
It’s been a major adjustment for the family, but they wouldn’t have it any other way. Conner has been caring for the children and supporting Whitney as she lives out her dreams.
Now, it seems like other members of the “SLOMW” cast are cheering for Whitney too.
Whitney Leavitt & Family Adjusted Well to the Big Move
Throughout “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” Whitney Leavitt has often found herself at odds with other members of MomTok. Fortunately, it seems she managed to mend fences with many of them. Her co-stars showed up in social media comments to support her.
“I like NY Whitney,” the reality star shared on Instagram recently, attaching several photos from her time in the Big Apple. From behind-the-scenes at “Chicago” to family life at home, fans got to see several photos from Whitney’s point of view.
Right away, other cast members from “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” added encouraging comments.
“I love ny whit,” Layla Taylor wrote. Mikayla Matthews simply added, “Same.”
“We all like NY Whitney ๐ฅ” DWTS hostess Julianne Hough noted.
Sadly, Whitney Leavitt had to take a break from “Chicago” this week to address health issues. She shared on her Instagram stories that she hopes to return to the stage by the end of the week. Fans wish her well during the recovery process.
The Reality Star Successfully Juggles Family Life & Performing
With three young children at home, it’s difficult to manage a full-time performance career. However, the Leavitts make it work. Mark Ballas even said that Whitney was destined to play Roxie Hart on Broadway.
โMaybe something will be happening in one of my childrenโs lives that I canโt attend, but something that Iโve really enjoyed, especially with being married to Conner, is heโs someone thatโs helped me navigate this and [has helped me] find creative ways for me to be a part of that,โ the mother of three told Scary Mommy in a recent interview. โAnd I love my kids seeing me create, and theyโve come to the Ambassador Theater, and theyโve seen the stage. My daughterโs even come to a show.โ
It’s not currently known if “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” season 5 will continue production, or when it will air on television. Filming halted amid the Taylor Frankie Paul controversy and investigation.
Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas star in “Chicago” now through May 3.
