Around the country, families celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Former “Dancing With the Stars” pro Sharna Burgess cheerfully spent the day being admired by her partner, Brian Austin Green.
The pair welcomed their son, Zane, in June 2022. However, Sharna also loves her stepsons, Kassius, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey. Green welcomed Kassius with Vanessa Marcil and the other three boys with his then-wife, Megan Fox. Today, they’re all part of a happy blended family.
In honor of Mother’s Day, Brian Austin Green penned a sweet tribute to Sharna Burgess, gushing over what a wonderful mother and stepmother she had become.
Sharna Burgess Loves Quality Time With the Kids
Brian Austin Green couldn’t let Mother’s Day pass by without honoring his partner, Sharna Burgess. They only share one child, but he loves how much she cares for his other sons.
“Baby, you are the most incredible mommy and step-mommy these kids could have been blessed enough to have. I have never seen anyone as dedicated a parent as you. You go beyond what I have ever thought was possible and give absolutely all of yourself ❤️❤️ Happy Mother’s Day 😊,” the “90210” actor shared on Instagram.
Green attached an adorable video of Sharna reading to their son, Zane. Fans gushed over the sweet interaction and the amount of love in the home.
“I love you ❤️ thank you xx” Sharna sweetly replied in the comments.
“Aww, how I miss reading to my kids. They are 26 and 20 now. Still had a precious day with them. Cherish all the time with your little one!” one Instagram user wrote.
The Former DWTS Pro Adjusted Well to Motherhood
Although Sharna Burgess has always loved being a stepmother, her worldview certainly changed when she had a baby of her own.
On Mother’s Day, the Australian dancer penned a beautiful Instagram post of her own, honoring Zane.
“It’s not for the weak, is it. Motherhood,” Sharna wrote. “Holding a love that big, a responsibility that sacred, stitching your new self back together while figuring out how to show up for this tiny little squish who has taken up every single corner of your heart, your mind, your soul…. Beautifully brutal. I wouldn’t change a single thing.”

It’s not clear whether or not Sharna Burgess will ever return to “Dancing With the Stars” as a full-time pro, but her fans remain hopeful to see her in the ballroom again.
Fans expect to see “Dancing With the Stars” season 35 on ABC this fall. “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” kicks off on Monday, July 13, on the network.
