When Doechii took the stage at the 2026 Grammy Awards, she made it clear why she’s becoming a fashion icon. Of course, along with being mesmerized by her standout look, you might have been feeling a little déjà vu. That’s because Doechii’s top not only looked a lot like the one Isabella Rossellini wore in the 1992 film “Death Becomes Her,” but it also resembles a top that Jenna Ortega wore to the 2025 Emmy Awards.
Getty“To present best rap album alongside Queen Latifah, Doechii changed into a custom look from Givenchy by Sarah Burton: a Death Becomes Her-inspired chandelier top which references Burton’s fall 2025 collection, paired with a voluminous raspberry-colored ball skirt that nods to spring 2026,” according to Vogue.
GettyOrtega’s was also a Givenchy top, yet it was slightly different than the one Doechii wore. Beyond that, the “Wednesday” star opted for a sleek, full-length black skirt to finish off her stylish look.
Doechii ‘Did the Look Justice’
When Entertainment Tonight took to Instagram to post about Doechii’s 2026 Grammys look, they added a caption, writing, “Doechii in the ‘Death Becomes Her’ top just made our #GRAMMYs Best Dressed list! Jenna Ortega wore a similarly fabulous jewel top to last year’s Emmys, so now we’re envisioning them in a ‘Death Becomes Her’ remake together — and honestly? We’re sat.”
Beyond that, a few fans left admiring comments on the post.
