Heidi Klum was spotted with her teenage daughter, Lou, during an outing in Los Angeles. In photos obtained by the Daily Mail and published on Tuesday, September 8, Klum is wearing all black. She wore baggy leather pants and a jacket and walked alongside Lou, who wore jeans, sneakers, and a purple off-the-shoulder top.
The outing marks a rare public appearance for Lou, and she looked so stylish and beautiful alongside her mother.
Heidi Klum’s Teen Daughter, Lou, Makes Rare Public Appearance
Lou is the daughter of Klum and her ex-husband, singer Seal. The pair had three children during their relationship: Henry, Johan, and Lou, but they have four children in total. Leni’s biological father is Flavio Briatore, but their relationship ended while Klum was pregnant. Leni grew up with Seal, and he officially adopted her in 2009 when she was five.
On October 9, 2025, Klum celebrated Lou’s 16th birthday with a gorgeous collection of throwback photos. In the caption on Instagram, she wrote, “Lou, my beautiful sunshine. Happy 16th Birthday. I love you with my whole heart.”
Lou is Klum’s youngest child, and in a 2021 interview with People, the supermodel and “America’s Got Talent” judge spoke about her love for Halloween. “I was hoping that I would pass this on even to my kids, but out of four, there’s only one that really is going for it, and that’s Lou,” she said. Klum is known for going all out for Halloween every year.
Lou is also a talented dancer, and Klum showed her skills in a video posted on Instagram in August 2021.
Heidi Klum Shares Glimpse Into Motherhood
It’s no surprise Lou looked great on her outing, even in casual attire. Her mom is one of the world’s most famous models and a fashion icon. They also grew up in a stylish household. “We have a rule in the house,” Klum said, People reports. “Rule No. 1 is always to look cool, and rule No. 2 is don’t forget about rule No. 1. We have other rules … but the No. 1 rule is to always look cool.”
GettyKlum has spoken about motherhood and shared a glimpse into her children’s lives, including how important it is for them to know her German culture. The family attended “Heidifest By Heidi Klum” at Hofbräuhaus Munich in September 2025 to celebrate their heritage. “Celebrating a huge party without friends and family would be pretty boring,” Klum told OK! Magazine in a German interview, E! News reports. “I think something like this is most wonderful when you can celebrate with friends and family, so of course I’m happy that they all came and had fun with me.”
She continued, “These are my roots—even if I’m not from Bavaria, I’m still German. I grew up here, too. And in that respect, I think it’s nice for my children to see a bit of my roots.”
