Kaia Gerber is stepping into a new chapter, and she looks every bit the part doing it. The model and actress, 24, showed up to the 2026 Disney Upfront on Tuesday at the Jacob Javits Center in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York City to promote her upcoming FX series “The Shards“.

Kaia Gerber Promotes New FX Series ‘The Shards’ at Disney Upfronts
GettyThe Shards is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated series of the summer.
The 10-episode FX thriller is set in Los Angeles in 1981 and is based on Bret Easton Ellis’ 2023 novel of the same name.
Created and produced by Ryan Murphy, the dark coming-of-age series follows a group of wealthy prep school students as they navigate privilege, danger, and the shadows of a serial killer lurking in their world.
Gerber portrays a wealthy prep school student in the series. She previously collaborated with Murphy on “American Horror Story: Double Feature” and the spinoff American Horror Stories back in 2021, making this a welcome reunion with a filmmaker she clearly trusts.
She was joined at the Disney Upfront by castmates Igby Rigney and Homer Gere. The series also features Evan Rachel Wood, Wes Bentley, Hayes Warner, Graham Campbell, and Daniel Dale.
“The Shards” premieres on FX in August 2026.
Kaia Gerber Signs on for New Thriller ‘Bulls’ With Boyfriend Lewis Pullman

On May 1, Deadline reported that Gerber and her boyfriend, Lewis Pullman, 33, have signed on to star as a married couple named Ava and Marco at a hedonistic island resort in director James Morosini’s upcoming erotic thriller, “Bulls”.
The couple has been dating since December 2024.
Gerber made her excitement clear when she commented three bullseye emojis on Morosini’s Instagram post announcing the project, in which he wrote: “Love this cast, love this team, here we go!”
Kaia Gerber Follows in Mom Cindy Crawford’s Footsteps With Acting Career

Gerber is walking a path her famous mother, Cindy Crawford, 60, once explored. The legendary supermodel dabbled in acting throughout her career with appearances in projects including “Fair Game”, “Frasier”, “3rd Rock from the Sun”, and “BoJack Horseman”.
Crawford built her name as one of the defining supermodels of the 1990s and has since co-founded Meaningful Beauty and has been married to Rande Gerber, co-founder of Casamigos tequila, for 27 years.
The couple also shares son Presley Gerber, 26, who has been open about his mental health journey on social media. In a candid December Instagram video, Presley shared a “Mental Health Monday” update with his followers.
