SEE INSIDE: Kaia Gerber’s Manhattan Apartment Is On the Market for $5.79 Million

Kaia Gerber is on the move! Recently relocating to Los Angeles to work on “The Shards,” a new series from Ryan Murphy, the model and actress — and daughter of Cindy Crawford — is leaving Manhattan. That’s why she’s put her apartment on the market for an impressive $5.79 million, according to the New York Post.

A Mercer Street residence, “Gerber purchased the apartment in 2018 and recently gave it a full makeover.”

“It remains one of the most beautifully finished loft-style homes in Soho,” Gerber’s listing agent, Georgia McDonald of the Power Team at Corcoran, told the New York Post.

The Home Is ‘Pristine’

With renovations that were led by Gerber, the home, which is situated on one of the upper floors of the full-service building, includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms (as well as a half bath) and spans around 2,133 square feet, per the listing.

It also features white oak floors, an oak fireplace surround and a kitchen with custom cabinetry and premium appliances.

“The result is a cohesive, calming palette that gives the entire space a clean, gallery-like feel,” according to McDonald.

The New York Post notes that a “private elevator opens straight into the great room, where 11-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Mercer Street. The kitchen — a Bulthaup design anchored by Sub-Zero, Gaggenau and Miele appliances — opens into a dining area large enough to seat 10.”

Beyond that, a “hallway leads to the primary suite, which has an east-facing balcony and a Carrara marble bathroom with double sinks, a soaking tub and a glass rain shower.”

If the next resident has a family or guests, there is a second bedroom that “has its own marble bath, as well.”

The new owners will also find a powder room, in-unit laundry and a 75-square-foot storage room.

“Despite these upgrades, the newly updated apartment has barely been lived in, as Kaia recently relocated back to California,” McDonald said. “This means the home is in truly pristine, move-in-ready condition for the next buyer.”

The Building Also Offers Perks

While the loft is surely attractive enough to pique your interest — and surely the interest of potential buyers — the building itself also offers residents enticing perks.

Along with an on-site fitness center and a 24-hour doorman, it also boasts “a contemporary façade designed to blend into the cast-iron district,” per the New York Post.

As for the area where the apartment can be found, “[o]utside the front door is the heart of Soho’s luxury retail corridor — a fitting backdrop for someone who has spent years fronting major fashion campaigns.”
