Melissa McCarthy looked absolutely stunning at the 2026 Oscars, and her outfit choice was a real showstopper. The actress walked the red carpet with her husband, Ben Falcone, and she opted for a striking, figure-hugging gown that showed off her curves.
Melissa McCarthy Wows on the Red Carpet

McCarthy’s dress featured long sleeves and a high neckline, which is a simple, elegant style. However, the beaded detail added a wow factor, making the gown both interesting and eye-catching. Falcone also looked great in an all-black suit.
McCarthy and Falcone have a beautiful relationship and have been married since 2005. In an April 2023 interview with People, the actress praised her husband for how he treated her. “He’s so constantly loving and kind,” she said. “And funny and the weirdest human I know, to be honest. And somewhere in my 30s, I was like ‘I’m okay with who I am.’ And if someone wasn’t thrilled with that, that’s okay too.”
To complete her look, McCarthy swept her hair back, kept her makeup natural, and wore dangling diamond earrings.

The star opted for gold pointy-toe heels and carried a black clutch that matched her outfit. The clutch features a gold snake along its side.

Later in the night, McCarthy took to the stage with “Bridesmaids” co-stars Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Rose Byrne, and Ellie Kemper. Rebel Wilson was noticeably absent from the reunion. They all looked stunning as they posed for photos, and seeing the actresses together again was a big deal for fans of the 2011 romantic comedy.

Melissa McCarthy’s Weight Loss Transformation

McCarthy has lost approximately 95 pounds, Page Six reports. For McCarthy, it has been a gradual process, and she has spoken about her weight loss on multiple occasions, including a May 2018 interview with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club.”
“I think everybody’s always kind of working on something,” she said. “And I was like, ‘If I can de-stress and just do it slower and stop constantly trying to be on something.’ And then it actually worked better instead of being like, ‘I’m gonna not do this and do this and only drink this.’”
She continued, “I was like, ‘I’m just gonna mellow out, give myself a break.’”
McCarthy’s approach to weight loss and her health was not always so relaxed, and in 2011, she admitted in an interview with People that she had tried an extreme doctor-supervised, all-liquid diet. She had just 500 calories a day, which led to huge weight loss, but it was unhealthy, and she swore off ever doing it again. “I felt starved and crazy half the time,” she shared.
